It has been ingame since april of 2024

Not really sweden constantly follows a weird state of rules, only the rules for thee but not for me when it comes to the Leos and about anything else is basically ignored.
Regardless the 3P was in the UK and most SAM’s have yet to be in said country they’ve been bought additionally gaijin has no plans to add new spaa to sweden when i asked Smin, they just received new SPAA so nothing is planned. It wouldn’t suprise me given most SPAA ignore shooting recon micros so the Eldes KD comes from slapping those vs actual aircraft

Nope, the space that was used for infantry on ASCOD is taken up by a server rack for the BF-MS and sensors, (and the Turret basket, the Ajax turret sits a bit lower than ASCOD).
GD have come up with a IFV version that was recently announced (Even has an ATGM!!!), but IIRC there’s no tender from the MoD for an IFV yet, just talk about a counterpart the Boxer for the tank units.
Ajax replaces FV107 Scimitar in the forward recon role.
Boxer is the “IFV” for now

Ah, right, I suppose I was getting the Ares version muddled up with the Ajax. So only infantry units are getting the boxer, and a tracked ifv for the tank units eventually?
Also how did GD mess it up?

We need that IFV version of the Ajax, but knowing Gaijin they’ll give us one of the less useful variants.
Just like they did with the Badger… Could have had an amazing platform for ZT3A2 missiles, but we only got the autocannon one.

The first hundred hulls had honestly diabolical quality control (built by GDLES), “Problems have included sections being inconsistent lengths, the sides of the hull not being parallel, and substandard welding. Fittings and furnishings have not had their attachment points drilled using jigs, resulting in the spacing of holes being uneven.” - The British Army’s Greek Tragedy.
Apparently the Trials crews where finding things not screwed down, equipment installation differences between hulls etc.

Its honestly somewhat depressing knowing that Sweden won’t get a new SPAA for a while while also knowing we could get the NASAMS 2 from Finland, the BAMSE, the IRIS-T SLM (I doubt this one tbh) and the LvS 103
