Spoiler
This is a complete sentence
“Well that’s too damn baddd!!”
- gaijin, probably
Oh don’t worry, laser guided bombs will literally throw themselves up to KILOMETERS off course when trying to track the laser at the moment and has been an issue for over two months. STILL not acknowledged even though it’s one of the larger bug reports and community managers have been called out by name to hopefully push this. I have a video (https://youtu.be/zFn-hj2aPfM?si=aehiAO27J1lCzNvx) of it and NOTHING is being done to fix it. And now they’re adding a US MBT (probably the M1A2T) to the Chinese TT rather than keeping the M1 to the US tech tree.
You just have to be careful with them, the CW cones are bigger than they seem
I saw the Blackjax, but it’s only a mockup. I don’t think it’s been tested
True, I forgot why that is, though.
Like I said. I think we are at gaijins discretion at this point. When it comes to vehicles not even in service yet they have 2 choices what they are or what they are intended to be and just need to look at the Cr3 for how bad an addition can be if they religiously stick to what it is in that exact moment.
Though again. At this point. A solid 10.3 ifv/afv would be awesome
Probably blame the MoD
Though there is an IFV version of the AFV been proposed
The tender was for an FV107 replacement, the idea being you take an of the shelf AFV and cram it with sensors, battlefield management systems, & datalinks to make an all around recce vehicle that’s more effective than a bloke with some binos and a radio.
GD screwed it up though lmao
Imho it is time to think about your general concept of trees and their effects.
It is rather easy to understand that your approach is aimed to add game play options or to close gaps you created by yourself. But this is mainly an issue for the gazillions of Ground RB / tank players.
I have zero issues with adding certain irrelevant nations to other totally irrelevant nations like Israel (not even a regional power) or implementing combined trees for PRC/ROC or the Koreas - but if i see things like this:
I wonder how long you want to offer a video game regarding air/land/sea warfare with zero immersion.
If i see a country like Cyprus which has a rather strange relation with a real regional power (Turkey) or Greece with a very strong manpower and a large amount of (mainly obsolete) hardware this makes actually sense, but both Koreas in one tree? Seriously?
Just think about your former game mode crown jewel Air RB and you might acknowledge that immersion got lost years ago. So you offer a fantasy gameplay with fantasy nations fighting each other (like Luxemburg & Andorra vs Monaco) - a game play / nation set up made for kids with a price tag for adults.
Consider at least an optional mode (or just lobby / nation allocation for existing modes like in SB modes for AB and RB modes as an option) along political / actual alliance structures to bring back immersion.
I would love to fight with a Chinese or North Korean aircraft vs UN forces like irl 1950-53 (or the other way around) and i am sure that others feel similar.
Thank you, developers, for finally confirming Korean vehicles in the game, as I am an ethnic Korean myself.
I am so proud and happy to see my own nation finally be represented in the game with its military vehicles. (rather than just unlockable/marketplace skins, VIDAR, Shenyang F-5 and GPS-guided bombs).
A United North and South Korean tree was probably the best possible implementation without stirring too much negative feedback from the War Thunder community.
Both North and South Korea united would allow for filling certain BR gaps and making stronger lineups that wouldn’t be possible with just one. (similar to the Chinese tech tree).
I am personally super excited and interested to see specifically the South Korean Rank VI-VIII+ ground vehicles; they have many unique and modified modern-day vehicles, in particular, the K2 Black Panther MBT, for example.
