Then you don’t know Cyprus. Israelis have been buying up buildings on both side of the island and immigrating at large rates. Akel (one of the two major parties in RoC) says that Israel is treating Cyprus like a backyard. They are concerned of a “Jewish colonial invasion” of the island.
As a Cypriot, its a bad idea. A fair amount of Cypriots don’t like Israel and the IAI has threatened to annex the North- going against Republic of Cyprus’ beliefs of a peaceful solution and creating more conflict on an already War-torn country.
And even disregarding that,
Israel has much better options, such as Chile and Colombia. They’re longstanding allies and share a lot of military equipment with Israel and modify their vehicles with Israeli equipment. Eg, the Kfir C.10.

Perhaps when trees are not actually “national” they should be renamed?
Eg “Eastern Mediterranean” instead of “Israel”, “SE Asian”, “South Asian”, etc…
Might head off a few heated arguments?
The trees are national, just like the subtrees are national.
The problem with giving them different names is that in a lot of cases there is no other name to give them that actually fits the tree without conflicting with minor nation additions and subtrees.

I’m glad it’s not being added as a Chinese subtree alone, but how come the development team is so dead-set on adding Singapore in the first place? It feels a little bit random when there are other, more militarily significant nations that have virtually 0 vehicles in-game.
This “diversity” is going to consist primarily of copy-paste Leopards and T-80s, it won’t be introducing any notable different vehicles to those already in-game. Greece and Cyprus to Israel is a strange choice altogether, especially when other suggestions like Turkey or Chile arguably are better fits (politically and militarily, at least; that being said, I’m still opposed to subtrees conceptually).

Ooh, yes! I like this feature. If there is one suggestion I have currently, it would be to also add a chart for shell velocity over distance, instead of just trajectory & penetration (or, if the penetration chart will show the velocity too, that is also acceptable)
More often than not they read them and then dismiss them.
If they have made up their mind we, the players, can’t really change that.

2016 was also when fake vehicles were allowed to be added.

Yes there is if you actually think about it and aren’t fixated on them having to be national - there is no actual reason they have to be when they are incorporating multiple nationalities other than the nominal one.
