I’m sure Chinese players have their own national pride not wanting US tech in their tech tree in the same way US players would not want Chinese tech in our tech tree

Thailand isn’t getting the VT-4 the Chinese community made enough smoke that Gaijin backed off. If the Abrams is added to the Chinese TT this would be a complete double standard.
