These missile only SPAA are always meh to play. Just remember how dull gameplay is with Ozelot or Strela. Brrrr.
Probably a huge truck with IRIS T SLM launcher which ofc can’t be even used as last ditch weapon vs. ground. Its the most boring gameplay and on most of these small maps you can’t even cover it up. You get shot in no time. The Iris launcher will be very high up, sticking out on every map … players easily spot it, laser range it, and lol shot you.
The Falklands/Malvinas are in demand, but we’ll see what becomes available… According to what Stona writes, it’s Port Stanley-Port San Carlos-Goose Green, but the islands are much larger…
BVVD has said the battleship lines will all be closed off in 2025.
In June apparently “superior, iconic, big, vast and yottabyte” ships are coming. The adjective choice there is so… odd, people here have been trying to make sense of S-I-B-V-Y as a teaser hint.
Me, when I saw them I thought the obvious hint was “Visby.” Surprised no one else came up with that also-intriguing possibility yet. Guess we’ll see in a couple weeks.
The other way to interrupt it is that they want to stop adding stuff WW2 and then start work on Cold War ERA instead.
Which would be both fun and a shame if they never add additions like HMS Nelson or HMS King George V to name but 2 I can think of off the top of my head
Here some things we should expect…
Fix the matchmaker
Fix the map rotations
Get rid of the TINY MAPS
Give nations proper br lineups
Give nations proper equipment to deal with threats you prematurely put into the game… Israel is still using a 9.3 spaa ffs 🤦♂️
BVVD exact quote was, 2025 will see “the logical completion of Bluewater fleet trees by adding the most famous and powerful battleships.” Doesn’t say they won’t fill in gaps later.
“Superior, iconic, big, vast(?) and yottabyte(?)” in the no.6 update is either some kind of terrible translation or a strong hint on something. Or possibly both: the Russian on that was “суперские, абсолютные, большие, верные и яркие” (tr: “super, absolute, big, faithful and bright”). с-а-б-в-я doesn’t really spell anything I can think of as an anagram though. That would tend to at least rule out the “I” being “Iowa” though, as “абсолютные” very definitely starts with an “a.” And there’s no way you get to “vast and yottabyte” from “верные и яркие”, or vice versa, unless you’re just looking for words that start with the same letter. So seems very likely there’s a V(в) and a Y(я) in whatever the answer to this one turns out to be.
