I think what we first need too is like a 20 meter ghosting for ground vehicles. Why is that not a thing? Everyone pushing everyone at the start seems kinda stupid when you could just ghost the tanks
Did Indonesia even have access to the Czech rockets since B-33s were sold to them by Poles?
It’s a pretty sad state of affairs when fans of British rotary vehicles can essentially expect a single vehicle once every 4 updates.
Only if Poland used them, since all Indonesian B-33s were modified Polish service aircraft.
So they should have the Polish drop tanks still, whatever armament the Polish B-33 could use (not too unlikely to include Czech rockets, which is why I’m asking) and the increased fuselage fuel tank added for Indonesia.
I am also wondering since I’ve yet to see pictures of Polish B-33s with rockets
Also B-33s in Czech service were equipped with recoiless rifles and different types of rocket pods
With an average general rate for most nations of 1 ground vehicle per update, thats almost one per update over a 5 update window. My list also excluded all the commonwealth editions (Arjun, Sep V3, AIM). Which I know naturally you dont count, but all of which were directly requested by the British community.
So thats actually very far from sad when put into perspective and actually above the average for nations of a similar scale and scope.
It’s easy to just lower the average when you exclude the nations that are actually consistently getting attention hahaha what is this even supposed to mean?
If you only include the nation that don’t get many vehicles, nobody is getting many vehicles!!
Finnish helicopters are exclusively for transport, don’t think they would add very much to the game.
What a bounty. France barely got 1.5 in 1 year. And in about 3 weeks that will drop to 0.5
It means exactly what I said? There is an average for most nations that are not the most popular ones.
Britain exceeds that average consistently with the number of additions it receives. Which are the facts I was clarifying rather than the “Britain suffers” picture you were attempting to paint.
T58 was literally designed to fight Soviet heavy tanks also both tanks are designed with their irl muzzle brake also not to mention t58 is at 8.7 and the is4 is at 7.7…
Yeah if it’s exclusive to the Czech model I don’t think Indonesia could get it. Theirs is a slightly modified Polish B-33
@Smin1080p_WT
Are there no Indonesian flights in this update except for B-33? I’m not specifically talking about the Indonesian rafale
I believe Smin has said in the past that all community managers work on the CM updates and dev blogs, so just because it was uploaded by one person doesn’t mean they were the only one working on it.
Already was confirmed by smin that there is only the Avia B-33 for Indonesian air
Can get them through weapon compatibility possibly
I am fairly certain that they both use different APDS munition.
Muzzle-Velocities listed for +15°C and therefore APDS-T w/ MV=1385m/s is TLD-038 (i.e. DM 23)
The other types (minus the HEI-T because that wasnt used by the BW) are identical to german DM 11 A1 / DM 21 HEI and DM 13 / DM 13 A1 (S)APHEI-T.
The APDS-T shell shown here is PMD 369 not TLD-038, this can be seen by looking at the sabot and/or ballistic-cap on the projectile (such is not present on TLD-038).
This becomes a bit clearer when looking at a earlier NDIA presentation;
What we can see here is that the dutch re-used DM 33 FAPDS (idk why it says with tracer, DM 33 is tracerless…), aswell as MLD-040 (PMD-040) HEI-T, so that shell would also be a option I suppose… (BW never used it)
However, more importantly, “APDS-T, nr555” and “APFSDS-T, PMD343” were still under development then, the APDS-T being PMD369 that became available later (see: presentation above).
As such, it is safe to assume that APFSDS-T was never available for PRTL, nor GWI, however, at best, a mixture of the standard Oerlikon 35x228 lineup (MLD-040 HEI-T, DM 11 A1 / MSD-042 HEI, DM 13 / PLD-044 APHEI-T) and DM 23 / TLD-038 APDS-T for PRTL, and in case of GWI, the same but with the addition of DM 33 FAPDS as primary anti-aircraft munition.
And no, it never had programmers, KETF/ABM is unvailable (for PRTL / PRTL GWI)
As reference, this is the initial bundeswehr-lineup of 35x228mm ammunition:
Dummy, TLD-038 APDS-T, PLD-044 APHEI-T, MSD-042 HEI, ULD-034 TP-T
Other types used by the BW (but not shown here) were; DM 21 HEI (DM 11 A1 but indent above guide-ring), DM 31 HE-T / HE-MP (Base fuzed HEI-Multi Purpose shell, made by Diehl), DM 28 A1 BREAK-UP & DM 33 FAPDS
Why is KF41 Lynx only for Hungary aka Italy I think, It should be in Germany too since it’s Rheinmetall
It’s using programmable travel distance ammunition
