On a tornado, I have used tornado in test drive only and it felt like a brick, so won’t 9 ALARM make it far less maneuverable and make it a bit slower?
No more so than my usual warload of 5-8x 1000lb bombs + usually fuel tanks and it handles fine. Sure its not a dogfighter (though I have beaten F-20s. Mig-21s and an F-4 in a dogfight before in the Tonka) , but in a PvE context of Nuclear thunder or what I hope is half decent SEAD gameplay added at the same time to ASB and maybe even ARB… I dont think it would matter much, and the ability to saturate a target so that the AI wont intercept every missile will be very useful.
Though in reality, I probably wont run 9x ALARM, unless I specifically want to/need to. As it will mean replacing my AAMs, which on the GR1, is probably worth it, but on the GR4, probably not. Also in ASB and maybe also on Nuclear Thunder if they make better use of the available space, then drop tanks would come in handy. but that is still at least 5 in a configuration where the German and Italian Typhoons would only be able to run 2.
Especially given the Tornado GR1/GR4 has a dedicated pair of pylons that can ONLY equip ALARM, meaning no matter what I want to run, I can always have 2x ALARM. That is a degree of flexibility and utility that is, as far as I am aware, unmatched by any other aircraft. Most aircraft, running even 2x AGM-88 or other ARM, means giving something up.
How effective they’ll be in GRB, I dont know, and I personally odnt really care that much, but in ARB and ASB, they could be a lot of fun to run. (I also nailed more than a few players with AGM-88s, so ALARM might also buff the Tonkas A2A ability by a little bit too and it kinda needs that at the moment)
But in any case, the Tonka will be a hell of a lot better than the A-6 or A-7. Better RWR, much higher CM count (especially infinite large chaff), higher top speed and most importantly of all, it looks a lot better :P

I hope the second major update onwards gajin add another aircraft rank V ~ VIII for 5 nations (USA, UK, RU, DEU and SWE), but skip 4+ gen fighter aircraft with AESA radar
And wait first gen laser guided munitions for USAF aircraft in rank VI ~ VII

True, but it does seem weird to me that they would announce something like this a year or two out, and since we don’t know much info at this point, it raises the question over what stage of development it is in, is Gaijin almost finished with 90% of the vehicles by now, or are they just starting to look into rank IV vehicles.

The PoBIT is currently missing it’s HSD display and weapon stores page for the CDU along with a weapons stores page for the other MFD’s.
My report for the CDU screens was accepted and marked as fixed when only 2/4 pages are included in-game.

Ok, you change vehicles BR but you are not update Tiers. Turm is still on V tier and all german are on 8.7. Do you planning changes all vehicles tiers - event/premium/tree?
I just hope germany gets the equivalent the full Revolution package at 12.0
Right now the only way for germany to play those brs is with premium 2a4M cans
If its higher cause of the chassis armor it still should be added to germany. Since no existing country actualy uses the complete Revolution package as shown. The RI is pretty bare bones strong text
