Fun times ahead
I’m on the way to boost win rates. :P
Due to the US dragging their feet on Meteor intergration for the F-35, I think the UK, Italy and maybe Germany have purchased Aim-120D to use on their F-35s and have maybe fitted them to their Typhoons. iirc, there was something about Germany running 2x IRIS-T, 2x Aim-120D and 4x Meteors on their Typhoons for maximum flexibility
UK doesn’t use D variant on Eurofighter, only Meteor post-C5. I’m 99% sure only Germany kept buying AMRAAM variants beyond C-5 for their eurofighter
I see some complaints, I wonder how much more there will be once the dev server opens and the “surprise” R-77M is shown🙏🏻

I would love to be corrected, but I do not recall any variant of Eurofighter getting AIM-120D-3s which is what we have in the files since there’s GNSS in the seeker guidance section. @Flame2512 @Gunjob
This actually made me laugh, brilliant <3
Really nice! Glad to see updates that makes information more available and easier to understand for players :)
Secretly hoping for Archer
CV9050 would be glorious.

In the files it appears so yes, it removes any gimbal limitations to firing.

more presets when as well since we get an extre vehicle slot? 18 aint rly enough for all branches
also idk why that was a reply, sorry
Isnt this basically useless anyway since US radars won’t benefit much from it? They’re all still 140 degrees max (until LOAL comes anyway)

Does and Can are 2 different things. The UK does have Aim-120Ds in stock, and they should be compatible. So its not a stretch if they were ever needed for some reason.

What about vehicles that are US but happen to be in other tech trees (IE, Israel, F18 (finland, Malaysia, Swiss), F16s??)
If you want to argue that the “top tier” for USA is struggling, then the top tier for israel is even worse, so are they getting Aim120D too?

Both the malaysian and swiss f18 are straight up a pain rn to fly lol
Things like this is why people want to push things like Gripen getting MICA for no reason other than inherent compatibility. Can we return to historical accuracy within the game or keep going with the copy pasta shenanigans lol

If German Eurofighter uses it, that would mean it is compatible with Eurofighter and hence all Eurofighter get them :D

They have stock because it was greenlit in 2018 for the F35 project not for the Typhoons

Okay, then give the Typhoon Meteor then.

Hopefully this means plenty of gap fillers and not just more Russian 4.3 & US. 5.0.
