The problem being that if they would rather add something as they see fit rather than use primary sources then what sources are we supposed to provide? Also as if Gaijin’s judgment is better that possibly incorrect official sources.
I don’t play ground RB often, however I do play Squad and/or Arma.
Imagine, driving for kilometres just to get sniped by someone in another post code. It would be a mixed feeling of rage and just hopelessness lol. 0/10, would not recommend – at all.
I can understand why Gaijin is holding off on larger ground maps.
Yeah the F-16E is such a glorious aircraft, I also wish it came… Also ik people find it ugly but I just love how it looks.
And the CFTs could be removed anyway
Reworked and polished the whole functionality of EC
They listened almost all of the suggestions regarding the EC rework
They improved the atmosphere of the whole game with changing weather systems in these modes which also affect sensors, etc. and added something like combat chatter of multiple units.
Implemented converged modes where aircraft are active on the whole map while naval and ground fight in raster squares in ad-hoch matches which are still much bigger than their current maps, so AA has a job to do and isn’t a free kill on a way too small map (could also unnerf their ranges at the same time) → The outcome of said encounter would determine the frontline movement for example too
Helicopters could also do their jobs from forward airbases and it would also open their way to integrate infantry into this mode with requests for air-support and the like
AWACS and aireal refueling as bot-driven priority targets which give the team, to which they belong, according advantages to their role
There is much more for sure you could do, but this is the stuff which came to mind ad-hoc. The potenital of this mode and the atmosphere it could have are limitless if you would just put a bit of effort into it. I will now go back into my corner and cry.
Gaijin is holding off larger maps because larger maps creates longer game time, which is equal to larger rewards. At least in the current system.
Furthermore, small maps with short gametime and low rewards gives incentives to the players to buy pay2progress(premium time) and pay2win(premium vehicles) to increase rewards from these low reward games.
They could also add an additional mode which plays on an EC map but works like the rush mode in Battlefield with one team defending and another one attacking with tickets and checkpoints (airfields) which are to be attacked. This could also be made into a new PvE mode where the player is the attacker and the AI has to defend, etc.
Okay, I now see the light fading and the world returning to its dreary reality…
