The AESA EFTs, Rafales and Su-30SM2 should be the last jets to get new missiles.
Would be nice to see AIM-120D for nations like Sweden or Israel though (with BR increases where needed).

Because the pl12 generates more drag and loose speed quicker because of it large fins compared to the pl15 which has smaller clipped fins and dual pluse motor which increases the range and help the missile maintain its speed on the terminal phase
Pl12a has the same engine or an improved pl12 engine with most like more thrust but without the dual pulse
@Smin1080p_WT There’s a debate about the language of the blog that was used. Could you confirm that current plans is for the AIM-120D to only come on a new aircraft variant even though plans may be subject to change?

Sweden uses C-8, which is slightly different than AIM-120D that the Americans are getting. Even still, it would be a wasted halfway missile anyway when the much better Meteor will be here soon.
Israel iirc can use/have the AIM-120D, but I’d much rather see something domestic get added (cough, I-Derby ER)
