Community Update No.10: Starting The Year Off!

F15c ge can use it like a F18e

Compatibility really isn’t the only factor but in this case I expect them to get it too

But they said in the blog that it will be featured on a new aircraft, not new AND existing aircraft, even if the existing aircraft can use it.

Same thing as typhoons were denied the D even though it could hold it. Just selective realism used as balancing

But it didn’t hold it irl, so it’s not the same thing.

I think its pointless reading into grammer like that, I dont think they really care that much

Besides, they said this before:

so we know we cant take what they actually write at face value.

And Smin has already said several times things are subject to change

I wouldn’t put too much value on the exact wording, it might just be a smooth way of mentioning that new aircraft

It has AMRAAM capability, same thing as the su30 can hold the kh38

If its base Ds they are adding, then they can just rename them to C8 and then its fine

Andddd this is my cope that the F-14D is coming next patch

I really wish it was the original photo though.

It would be perfect.

Yes of course, but knowing Gaijin they like to lock new missiles behind new airframes so I’d really be surprised if they proliferated it.

Hmm… Maybe, if its an F-16 they add, I can 100% see them adding them also to the F-15C GE, maybe also F-18E

If they add the F-15EX then I can see the argument to keep it at a lower BR.

This has to one of the sentences he said the most in his entire life lmao, just behind “stay tuned” and “nothing to speak of at the moment”

But the Su-30 airframe did hold the Kh-38 even if Malaysian one specifically didn’t.

As a harrier fan I want to see the F-14D too tomcats are cool

Yeah my point is right there, the MKM has capability so it got the kh38. Therefore Gaijin can add the 120D to typhoons. Only reasone why they didn’t was because they think typhoons are good enough so they don’t need it.

There’s the F-15EX and AESA F-15E’s. There is also F-15E1 with AESA, RAM coating, CWB, but using the earlier 220 engines. There is also the F-15D MSIP II but doubt Gaijin would add that with AIM-120D.

Well it’s all messy. I know the F-15C GE and Super Hornets are probably all the worst 14.3s statistically and by a mile, so maybe like you and everyone else said, they’ll add it to those aircraft.

what is it ?

Well that’s different. The su-30 airframe itself with other countries used Kh-38, so the mkm got it since it’s compatible. Eurofighter airframe with any country did not get AIM-120D though
