Yep, that’s why I think it makes no sense to have new radar missiles when the previous ones are full of bugs. I think they should start there and then think about the AIM-120D.
There was a time when the AIM-120C-5 had its real maneuverability where you could hit targets >90° off boresight in close combat (don’t know if it was devserver or Live but I would assume they wouldn’t let this performance carry over to Live). I saw a video about this recently and holy it was good before they nerfed it a few days later.

The issue though, is that if they fix B5s, it will buff everyone with them.
If they add AIm-120Ds, they can just buff the US

Please add more preset option too! Even if as buyable form for golden eagle!
18 preset are now to short, if someone play ground, air and sea battles. Specially after the multiple decompressions.
I really want to have more preset option, so I doesnt need to change always my vechicles!

But the problem is that they want to achieve balance and don’t know how, so they think worse radars should have better missiles to compensate. They don’t use their heads much.

Fixing AIM-120C-5 and AIM-120D could technically both happen, even though I’m absolutely sure it won’t.
Gaijin sees nations struggling (US and China) at top tier air and AIM-120D and PL-12A are their way to help them (meanwhile Israel top tier air is just beyond dead though).
Meanwhile I have to turn in to shoot AMRAAM in AESA EFT meanwhile Su-30SM2 shooting at targets at their radar’s gimbal limits:
