So block 2 could also get them or gaijin will not give it to them just like they did with 120c and F-16C
It’s good/fun for 13.7, but the F-16I is exactly the opposite of peak at 14.0.
I don’t think an F-16C PoBIT will be fun at 14.3 even with an AESA radar and AIM-120D, at 14.7 it would be diabolical.
I don’t have an issue with new additions, but how about an update dedicated to Quality of life ?
No new vehicles, just bug-fixes and feature addition on existing vehicles.

But if the 120D fixes the manueverability issues of C5, it might have something going for it.
Why not just unnerf the AIM-120C-5 (or generally the AIM-120 series) and give it the performance it should have? There are more than enough open reports about it and most have been accepted since over two years (like beamwidth, maneuverability, etc.). I don’t get their train of thought at all… Except they go about it like “instead of fixing things, we give the players shiny new things so they stop bothering us about the old stuff. All aboard the hypetrain!”.

According to the introduction from the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) at the 2024 Zhuhai Airshow: The PL-12AE air-to-air missile is a beyond-visual-range, radar-guided air-to-air missile. It features long range, high guidance accuracy, and strong anti-jamming capabilities. It can undertake beyond-visual-range air combat missions and is used to engage aerial targets such as fighter aircraft, bombers, UAVs, and cruise missiles. Its carrier platforms include the JF-17, J-10, and large UAVs, among others. Launch methods include rail launch and ejection launch. Its maximum usable overload is 38G, and its engagement range is ≥120 km. Guidance involves a Strapdown Inertial Navigation System (SINS)/Beidou satellite combination + two-way data link correction + active radar terminal guidance. The missile length is 3939 mm, diameter is 203 mm, and mass is <214 kg.
Also the pl15e does share the same diameter and the probability that of those 2 missiles use the same motor wouldnt be false either since the regular pl12 only has a range of 80 km
Pl12ae has a range of 120 km
Pl15e has a range of 145 km
The only way to get that extra 40 km range you would need a better motor and a new loft profile

Not true, while the diameter could be the same the motors can still be different. For example, AIM-120C-5 and D-3 have the same diameter despite having 2 different motors. Unless there’s actual proof it has the PL-15’s motor, it’s probably just a revised PL-12 motor.

And I would bet they either add the F-16E, F-16V or F-15EX (or F-16C PoBIT) as the new airframe to introduce it. At this point: Why not add all these planes together at once? The F-16s share most of their model with only minimal changes and the F-15EX with the F-15E too.
Possibly, though if it was the F-16 I would guess the F-15C GE would also get them.
It will permanently fight rafales and EFTs that beat it in every aspect while the Su-30SM2 will eat it alive in BVR.
Hell with only 6 missiles at 14.3-14.7 I think that the F-15C GE might even be better at BVR and the F/A-18E might even give it a run for it’s money.
