I mean, they also put the MiG-15bis ISh and Prinz Eugen on sale today
Never lol, the snail will ignore it
Yet zero evidence of inconsistency.
The Stingray was put into American Army trials, and thus is eligible as a trial vehicle.
@KhorneFlakez1337
Is there evidence of those vehicles being used in trials?
kf41 for Germany when?
US get a vehicle US build but only operated by Thailand at the same update as Thailand get it, so Germany also can get a German build vehicle that (currently) only operated by Hungary right?
Oh boy, in that case I’ll be waiting for Centauro I and II in Russian tech tree, maybe even Leo2A4?
The Begleitpanzer 57 wasn’t trialed by anyone to begin with, nobody wanted it.
Not sure about the KF41 Lynx, but considering that the Stingray that the US is getting is a variant that wasn’t trialed by the US, that’s not that big of a deal.
The US trialed a Stingray with a LAV-105 turret and a lenghtened hull.
The Italian TT has been waiting for its G-91 R/3 for seven years.
Not as a Tech Tree vehicle, which is what I was saying I wish it was
Superhornet confirmed
Please, dear friends, it’s “bear in mind”, not bare. I mean, I hope you don’t want our minds to be empty. 😅
As for the tank, looking forward to it!
Unless theres a variant of it that could be added i doubt gaijin will add an existing event vehicle as a tech tree vehicle
No, we have bare minds. They wrote it intentionally
Yet zero evidence of inconsistency.
The Stingray was put into American Army trials, and thus is eligible as a trial vehicle.
Oh boy, does that also open doors for Germany to get Abrams because Swiss trialed it?
Monkeys paw effect, you get a abrams, but lose out on a sought after Leo
Incredible, I’m very excited to research this and more vehicles coming to the Japanese tech tree. Are you guys plotting yet? Looking forward for more DevBlogs on Thai sub-tech tree.
Fairly certain Britian trialed the F-117 and possibly the F-22 as well? (or something, at least I think they possibly considering the possibility of Britain Trialing it, so that htey would pull out of the EFT program)
:P
The Stingray was put into the United States trials competition as an American produced vehicle.
It and Stingray 2 were part of trials as the M551 replacement.
@SoloWing_Makarov
Evidence that Centauro is Russian? Also there is no Russian tech tree, it’s a Soviet tech tree.
@TyphoonCro
Is the Abrams a Swiss vehicle?
The only way trialed vehicles of countries that didn’t produce them get added is if there is no alternative.
See T-80U and Mi-28A in Sweden months before Norway was a consideration; Norway’s MH-60 would be the one to be squadron instead of Mi-28A if they were to go to Sweden back then.
And same for any Norwegian or Finnish tank for the ~11.0 position in ground.
So unless that rule changes, nothing changes.
Trialed vehicles in host countries only go to host countries unless there is no alternative for other tech trees.
Germany has Leopard 2A7V, and Soviets have Sprut at 9.3.
TL;DR: Wait and see if a tech tree that is not the manufacturer’s host country gets a vehicle that was trialed that has a domestic alternative for that BR.
Once that happens [if ever], then the rules change.
Obviously unfinished and finished prototypes go to host countries irrelevant of trial status.
Again, those weren’t Commando Stingrays. The US should have gotten the Stingray II or that Stingray AGS thing the Army requested.
It’s not, but it was trialed. There’s mixed Soviet-Russian tech tree, if we don’t count the odd shit like M53/59.
I forgot to say that USA currently has no unlockable light tank in-game for the 9.3 lineup, and Stingray is one of the options, if not the only option left.
