However, publicly available documentation I’ve reviewed indicates the CM502KG employs not only millimeter-wave guidance but also imaging/IR guidance. Similar to Gaijin’s balancing approach for the Brimstone missile—where they restricted its guidance to semi-active laser homing instead of active radar homing—balance could be maintained by limiting the CM502KG to IR or imaging guidance only. This would constrain its effective engagement range and align its performance parameters with existing in-game F&F missiles like the Longbow Hellfire and Spike missiles, which use infrared seekers.

personally I wish gaijin would add more artificially nerfed things, like if all IR air to ground missiles had a max lock range of ~10km or less that would be great, and it clears the way for very interesting weapons to come to the game, and much needed or requested things like this
Similar to the KH-29TD missile, which has a maximum range of 35km but can only lock onto moving targets within 7km. Beyond this distance, it is restricted to engaging stationary targets—making its effective combat range effectively 7km.就像KH29TD,其射程也是35km但是锁定动目标只有7km,在这个距离外只能攻击固定目标,其有效作战距离也是在7km内
