Then don’t bring up the myth that is “perfect conditions”, or skill related matters like “What if a player pulls full! What if they’re a bad player! What if the dogfight is just a giant skill issue!”
Then the F-15 won against an inferior opponent due to having better skill and it doesn’t matter.
F-15’s fuel amount is 16 minutes [50%] to be equal with Su-27’s minimum fuel amount BTW.
The Su-27’s rate with the same minimum fuel as F-15E is 19.6 degrees per second:
Most people can’t do that. And the R-73, when it’s not gyro-ing out of control is good at exactly that shot because the dispersal pattern of the flares is insufficient, the path of the enemy aircraft is slow and linear, and the engagement distance is so tight that the seeker will finally ignore the flares, unlike the AIM-9M with it’s gated seeker that is basically easy-mode the IR missile.
@magazine2 hi, thanks for the article and all the info. I would like to ask you if there is some info regarding new game modes. In my personal opinion that is the greatest problem with the game. After several years of playing capture the flag and team death match I’ve honestly lost a lot of interest in the game outside of sim gamemodes. Yeah new vehicles are sometimes interesting but honestly the lack of game modes is becoming a critical issue for both air and ground.
Gaijin either needs to drop the A-10s back to their original BR or give them the air spawn they said they would get when they reluctantly moved them up. I dont even know why they touched them in the first place. They said it themselves they weren’t great performers at their former BR, which is why they didnt want to move them. Then need to go back down to their original BR.
