What top tier tanks can Gaijin even add to top tier at this point, without going to the hellhole of 140-152mm tanks with 5sec autoloaders and top secret prototypes?
I can think of M1A2 SEP V3 and thats it… Leopard 2A8 looks too modern for now, not much is known about Strv 123A either, so question with Germany and Sweden/Norway is closed. I think Italy has a chance to get one more Ariete?
China seems to have pretty much everything. MBT-3000, is it suitable for the game? Japan has a lot of Type 10 tanks, and TKX sounds like this is the absolute latest vehicle they can get.
Russia… I cant think of anything except T-14, which is a paper tiger at this point of knowledge and hype on it, too.
Maybe the British can get something else, like that Street Fighter tank, but its surprising how we already have Challenger 3 and its not the best, it seems.
France has serial use of Leclerc XLR, but I do not exactly see how is it gonna be better, maybe only because of addition of Shard.
Finally Israel talks about Merkava Barak, but I never heard it had any improvements except for advanced crew control or something. Info on it is really limited.
Aside of Streetfighter, XLR and SEP V3, what tanks can the game even rely on, in the future, if not going into adding cardboard tanks of General Dynamics, KNDS/Rheinmetall and UVZ, some semi-fictional modern mods of Leopards and Stridsvagns, and outdated 140mm prototypes?
For Sweden you’d probably need the danish variant of the Leo 2A7 but i’d say there’s not really a need for them as the Strv 122s still hold up pretty well
Depending on long it takes for the Leo 2A8 to arrive ingame for germany, we’ll probably get our hands on the Strv 123A/B or we could potentially get the Leo 2A8 NOR but don’t think that will be needed
Germany could wait for the Leo 2A8 or get some other variants of the previous Leos since there’s quite a lot of options, there’s also the Leo 2A7A1 which is just the 2A7 with APS, not sure how different it is compared to the 2A8 or the Leo 2A7+ which has more overall armor
Russia has plenty of variant options left to get + a bunch of object tanks that could potentially be added to top tier
USA obviously the SEPV3 you mentioned with APS is an option or maybe the SEPv4, there’s also stuff like the M1 TTB which is an unmanned turret option, the XK1 prototype which later became the K1 used by South Korea but this is most likely going to be a premium or event vehicle
As for the other nations, don’t really have much knowledge about them and potential MBTs
But while they are running out of MBT options for some, there’s still plenty of Light tanks and IFVs that most nations can get
i hate that gaijin pursues top tier, they are going to be out of things to add in a few updates if they keep chasing that
i would rather have an update focused on some cold war/ww2 stuff and game polish
Wont be much of an upgrade over the current Challenger 2s as the Brimstone was just a mock up. So it depends on what gaijin is willing to allow.
Do not look at the CR3TD as a basis for what the CR3 will be like. That is an extremely early prototype that Gaijin is technically artificially nerfing ontop of being a very very early prototype.
There is no reason to assume the actual CR3 if/when added to the game wouldnt be a competitive tank. The CR2s would be if Gaijin allowed them to be and actually fixed the outstanding bug reports

They don’t pursue top BR, they pursue a BR range to know what they’re working with.
This major update is quite literally focused on WW2 vehicles.
All updates are focused on game polish.
