+1 always love Churchills, at 3.7 it would be a nice progression from the Churchill I to the Churchill III at 4.0.
A shame it doesn’t get the M61 w/ explosive filler, although could it theoretically be able to fire it? As far as I am aware the M61 APCBC is just M61 APHE with the filler removed and concrete in its place.
It would absolutely be able to fire it but gaijin pretty much just refuse to give the APHE to Britain so all of my suggestions have been created with the thought that it’s unlikely to change.
A column of Churchill tanks of 107th Regiment, Royal Armoured Corps, 34th Tank Brigade, move up to the front in Normandy, July 1944. - IWM (HU 104153)

The 7th RTR and the Royal Scots advance south-eastwards towards the Château de Grainville across undulating wheatfields and then through meadows, copses and hedgerows masking their objective. - IWM (A70 60-2)
I think I’d rather see the VI be researchable and the IV (75) be a squadron vehicle with the re-engined VI being the prem. Ideally they’d both be in the TT and easily available to everyone but I’m maybe, slightly, possibly, very heavily biased.
The Mk. V should definitely be added as a researchable though, no question about that.
Yeah, I reckon about 2 or 2.5cm but I’m awful at that sort of guesswork. It’d have to be thick enough for it to be worthwhile but also not so heavy that the balance or elevation gear is affected too badly (if at all).
I’ve not really been able to find any information about it which isn’t surprising, if it was indeed a single unit’s field mod, but with such a good example available at Saumur* you’d think someone would’ve measured it.
Edit - *Gotten in touch with the folks there, just waiting to hear how much it’ll cost for them to measure it. Gonna take a while though 'cause they’re busy with more important stuff than some goober’s request to measure a chunk of steel.

The II and IV AVRE are arguably fairly redundant and the NA75/IV 75mm/VI are all relatively similar but they’re Churchills so they’re magnificent and automatically worthy of a chance. The IV L/50 could technically also be split into ‘Mid’ and ‘Late’ versions in the same manner as the III.
I guess this and the Churchill Mk. IV are redundant now that all British 75mm guns have filled M61 and we already have the NA75. I guess we could add in one as a premium and the other can get unfilled M61 to be put at 3.7 so we have a heavy tank there. Idk what do you guys think of this?
There’s a few options I suppose. Could make the Mk. VI TT seeing as it was built with a 75 rather than modified, make the NA75 a squadron vehicle, and make the IV 75 a premium or use it in a lower tier pack.
Alternatively, make that the SV and have the other two in the TT?
Let’s face it, the NA75 was the perfect excuse for them to give Britain a little more APHE without providing it for all of the tanks with the Mk. V but, honestly, something about a modification using an American gun taking TT precedence over a fully British design just doesn’t sit right with me. I will begrudgingly admit it was an interesting modification though, even if the 75mm Mk. V Churchies have my attention.
