Compared to their 11.0s, MBT2000/Khalid, etc., the differences seem to be so slight, yet they are 1br apart? armor also equally dog as the breech area can be reliably penned by something as weak 105mm dm23. Mobility is good for a Ru style mbts, but trade-off is protection and only advantage it has over the 11.0 is the LWS? the +1.0 doesn’t added anything else that matters when versus other MBT, which feels no differences when using the mbt2000

The 11.0s should indeed probably be moved up.
I disagree. Those 11.0 vehicles have bad FCS compared to anything else other than Russians. Those Chinese vehicles might be speedy but the trade off is the armor, bigger weak spots around the breach area and bigger lfp’s. 2 of 11.0 vehicles have bad reverse.

Except from being an entire BR up. He argued that VT5 is fine where it is, which I agree with cause I don’t care if it’s 10.7 or 11.0, the line up is there anyway.

The 99As have:
- 27.3HP/t vs 25, they also have 12 forward gears apposed to the MBT-2000s 7 making acceleration even better
- Generally better armour but YMMV
- 38 deg/sec horizontal speeds vs 30, vertical is vastly better with 15 vs the MBT-2000s 5.
- The Al-Khalid has better thermal sets, 99A has Gen 2 vs MBT-2000s Gen 1
99A has a lot of soft advantages that aren’t immediately obvious, the gun handling alone makes them so much better. I didn’t bother with the VT-4A1, that thing probably could be 11.0.
