What i’ve been trying to tell. The structure on that picture doesn’t match the drawing. The one i sent matches it better with just small panel on basically a rod.

That one has significantly more of something on it

Maybe we can finally ask for PL-2B? J-7II, F-5 and J-6A can really benefit from it and it would have to be added at one point if they ever plan to add the original J-8 series(unless they want it running with 4 regular PL-2 lmao)

AIM-9B to AIM-9E basically, nothing extraordinary but the extra speed would be great

Iirc it has a slightly larger FOV and worse track rate, but it would be a good addition.

I would be more interested to see PL-3 arrive on J-7, although as far as i know there is no reference as to what variant it was tested from

Based on what Maple said I don’t think the missile is enough to warrant an increase in BR, the F-100 is the same br with 4 × AIM-9E missiles being thrown at flareless aircraft but don’t forget that 10G missiles are easy to dodge if you have the energy to do it so
