Yeah I saw it on this channel but was just asking if someone could watch the thing on CCTV.
Is it just me, or does CCTV use DCS to illustrate their points? XD
Yeah they use it very frequently I’ve noticed, sometimes they’ve used WT aswell
This is footage from quite a while ago—if I remember correctly, it’s from a program by CCTV before last October.

Found this a while back but couldn’t find where its from. But suggests the PL-10E can turn 90°/s
anyone can identify these missile ? they look like pl10 and sd10 but i am not a expert.
Spoiler

here the missile so you dont waste time
Spoiler

still the same here

def not an SD-10, closer to PL-15 in terms of looks but fin set is still mismatched, could be a whole new missile based on PL-12
what about the small short one ir, ik the ir missile on the wing look like the pl10E
def PL-10
this one ? not sure

its different size. maybe pl8 ?

they be modifying the fins around, might be combo of R-73 +PL-10 tech
oh ok nice, thanks
nah pl8 looks like this

That one looks quite close to PL-12.
These are more like PL-15.

Close but not quite, the fins are slightly different, but I’m rather more interested than the avionics on their MiG-29s, assuming that these are actually modern missiles, does that mean either NK developed or China helped make a modern avionics suite for 9.12Bs? If so that would actually somehow make it one of the most advanced MiG-29s in the world if it has an AESA radar, maybe the KLJ7A since it’s practically made for jets like the MiG-29
Im not sure but here is a comparison on the other MiG photos having attach missiles… seems like pl-12AE

Could well have been a simple integration or an already existent upgrade for 912s. It’s possible that it received some of JF-17 stuff but much less than if it just used Russian radars with Chinese tech included.
clearer image about the North Korea PL-15 things
seems based on own technology, even laser proxy fuze
I’d slightly taper some enthusiasm as unless we know for sure something is Chinese. I assume NK relationship with Russia over current conflict probably had technology transfers ( or even indigenous design)
apparently aim120D and C-7/8 are boost sustainer configurations meaning about 4 different motor configurations with the D-3 having a slightly bigger motor than C-7 and everything inbetween
dont think its a pl12AE, the rear part is different, notice the wings, the servos and the body is tapered on the pl12AE also the nose cone seems to be shorter and slightly fatter so probably non aesa
