China should not get a M1A2T Abrams

China calls it China because China wants it to be China much like China wanted Hong Kong to be China. Everyone else calls it Taiwan. Those are two different names. And China doesn’t need it nor should they get it. 👍

You made me grab my phone and go to the gallery just to find this screenshot from 2023 when the T90M was leaked, happy now?

Then Gaijin’s description is hella off I guess. Its either the 2017 model and additional models came after it or its the “latest mass-production MBT in service with the Russian Army”. Oo ate they trying to say both? It was reveiled to the public in 2017, maybe even started full production there, but everything I am seeing is saying the go-live date was 2020. But then that proves my point more if we go that route. The F-15E was prototyped in 1986 but didn’t go into service until 1989. By that then, we should be at the F-22 for the US.

Yes, Republic of China calls themselves China. This has always been the case.
You however are claiming ROC is not China and shouldn’t be in their rightful tech tree, which is obvious anti-Taiwan nonsense.

Yes, in fact, it was presented to the public in 2017 at the victory parade, if I’m not mistaken. It doesn’t change much from the export version, which is the T90MS. Obr-2017 was made for the requirements of the Russian army. In 2020, we had another version, the T90M Obr 2020. I don’t remember what the changes were from the other versions. Since then, it has been receiving some updates, such as Obr 2023, 2024, and so on. I even forget the characteristics, but not the T90M from War Thunder, it is its initial pre-production version. Gaijin could have given us another version of it instead of the T72B3A, but I won’t complain about the T72B3A with ARENA M after this update, it saved my life more than 50 times against the new helicopters.

I guess. But no Abrams to China to come full (lopsided) circle.

To be honest, since I only have the Abrams AIM, I have nothing to say on this matter. I kind of agree and disagree. They don’t want the VT4 for Thailand, so why should they have an Abrams? But at the same time, Taiwan also calls itself China, and in the end, this will all become a stalemate that I don’t care about.

I just don’t see why an aggressor should get the aggresse’s tank meant to defend itself from said aggressor.

Russia doesn’t just get to claim US Abrams and Germany Leopards sold to Ukraine just because it see’s Ukraine as a former Soviet State. We aren’t adding vehicles like that to the game so this is no different.

To be honest, as I said, I agree, but at the same time, I believe there is no other way to represent Taiwan, just as a subtree of China, and I know that China has a lot of cool national equipment that can be added. As for Ukraine, I only support its addition as a sub-tree of the Soviet Union along with other former republics, and I mean Ukraine before 2022 or 2014.

You add it to the US as a premium or event? Like the Iranian F-14? Or just don’t add it.

Show us where Americans and RO Chinese players don’t want VT-4 for Thailand.
I’ll wait.

Not even the majority of PRC players oppose VT-4.

Are you referring to the vehicle or Taiwan to the US?

I’d be fine with China getting it, provided the British tree finally gets the Australian one…

M1A2T is copied from M1A1AIM,It will be 11.7 BR.Chinese TT should get all vehicles they have.Don’t be like a baby whose toy was taken away!

If the Chinese can deny the VT4 to Thailand, expect others to push for them to not get an American tank. That’s just common sense.

I wouldn’t add it because I don’t see any space for it, in the case of the F14 it had nowhere to go, it would either go to the USSR or the USA

The Skink is a Canadian hull, it’s built off a Grizzly. Which is a Canadian built M4A1.

Also, they do have foreign export tanks. See the:

  • Locust Mk I: Built at British request, to British specifications, paid for by the British, and then used in combat by the British. The only reason it received an M number was because the US were interested in a glider tank, then they realised it wasn’t very good and didn’t use them.
  • Boarhound Mk I: Same story as above, didn’t see combat but did see service with the British.
  • T14: Same story as above, but the British abandoned the project due to the Churchill’s faults being resolved.
