Looks like both have the same hull. But what’s the gun on the picture I shared? 20mm or 12.7mm?
Certainly looks to be a 20mm at the very least, or even 30mm.
It also appears to have small stinger-like missiles on the left of the gun.
Definitely not a 50cal, though.

Some websites called it VN11. I think VN11 has two hull options to choose from. One is the newer hull and the other is this upgraded Type59 hull.

No, vn-11 is exported ZBD-04 and VN-11A for ZBD-04A.
30mm possibly. Chinese has no 20mm gun. should be something similar to VN-1C’s turret.

What are the ERA like things on the LFP? Doesn’t look like any Chinese ERA.
seems more like armor patch, era is more thick. VT-5 uses FY-4? if my memory correct, but Chinese eras are mostly customized shape so shape an’t tell
edit: this version is the most basic version, almost a bare hull

It looks sort of the the add on panels on other light vehicles like the ZLT-11 or ZBD-04A.
The 140 mm gun is still in the trials with the PLA and is not yet a thing on the T-99A.
Btw why are you comparing Al Khalid hull to VT-4? I know MBT2000/AL khalid has same hull as VT-4 but there could be some differences
