Well, look at fighters and tell me they are doing any better. The only things that can take a few shots are Soviet props due to plywood bug 2.0, everything else gets destroyed immediately.

Alright, so It looks like a mk108 HEI shell’s damage spreads further on the b29 now, a identical shot to the fuselage used to make just that section yellow, shot placed basically on the panel forward of the gunner bubble, now it manages to damage even the flap on the wing from there, not sure how far fragments are supposed to go to have enough force to punch through metal, I know a modern US frag grenade has 6.5 ounces of comp B which has a TNT equivalent of about 240g, and the lethal radius is 5m, with the injury radius being 15m against fleshy meatbags called humans, idk what a mk108 would look like with half that filler vs aluminum skin, which while relatively weak compared to steel, is still stronger than a human lol

You have too much faith in a fighter main’s attention span, hell, their attention span is so short they’re fighting for bombers to die faster so they dont have to spend as much time looking at it

Yes 4 MG17s were removed and 2 MK108s were installed.

Yep im looking at mine in war thunder, out of all the configs, the 2 mk108s stay in the nose, always. you can also plow on 4 mg151s or a 37 ontop of those mk108s. outstanding lmao
