Oh, it’s a copy paste of the Strikemaster. Wait, no. The Strikemaster is a very much taller jet and came 13 years after the T-37. The US Navy used to mock the T-37 as the only jet you could stand next to and piss inside the cockpit.
Oh, yeah, it’s a copy paste of … What? What is it a copy, paste of? Nothing matches it? The SK60B is a high wing, T-Tail so that ain’t it. What airplane is the T/A-37 possibly supposed to be a copy paste of when it doesn’t exist in game?
By the way, fun fact: Although I NEVER saw it happen, there was a brief section in the T-37 -1 (Dash One, the aircraft flight manual) which said that wiring was provided to mount an AIM-9 Sidewinder under each wing. Did not specify which AIM-9 and they would be heavy enough to seriously degrade aircraft performance but the capacity was allegedly there as stated in the flight manual.

Very well. Then please clarify. What is the point? You claimed it was a cut and paste and yet there is nothing in the game which matches the T/A-37. If you want to claim it is another jet trainer then let’s delete all other lightweight jet fighters because we already have the F-16. All the others are cut and paste (sarcasm intended). Let’s delete all the supersonic jet strikers because we have the SEPECAT Jaguar. All the others are cut and paste (sarcasm intended). Let’s delete all the subsonic strikers because we already have the A-7 Corsair II. All the others are cut and paste (sarcasm intended).
Seriously, if you have a point and I am not denying that you do just because I can’t see it. I am politely asking if you would please explain your point because it remains obscure.
The point is adding copy slop vehicles to a nation that’s better suited getting original vehicles.

Okay, I do understand the resistance to “copy slop vehicles.” You aren’t the 1st to make such a complaint and certainly won’t be the last. What I still fail to understand is how this applies to the A-37 Dragonfly or the T-37 Tweet? Neither of these can be a copy and paste of any vehicle in the game. While your complaint at its core might be valid, it doesn’t appear to apply in this case. It’s so far unrelated, it’s as if a group of people are talking about the history of WWII Pacific Carrier battles and you suddenly start complaining that it has rained every day for 2 weeks (valid complaint but what has that got to do with Pacific carrier battles). It still appears as though you are assuming an original of the A-37 already exists within the game. I have 85 hours flying the T-37 way back in 1989 and I promise you, no such animal exists within the game.
I loved flying the T-37 except for the air conditioner and the extra small luggage compartment. The air conditioner didn’t work well under all that plexiglass unless you had the throttles above 90%. That was fine when out in the areas doing aerobatics but it was miserable on a hot Oklahoma day flying instrument approach procedures. Thing was a tank, too. A couple of instructors screwed up and landed short of the runway (very hard). Drove the main landing gear struts through the wings. Two months later that bird was back to flying the line.
To wrap up, if ANY nation’s tech tree gets the A-37 Dragonfly, it is in fact getting an original vehicle because there is nothing in game which it can be copied from.
The A-37 suggested is an unmodified U.S. plane, simply exported to Thailand. Unless I’m reading the suggestion wrong.
I think it would be good for Thailand to use it in the Japanese tree as well; very few countries operated the aircraft, mostly Latin American nations and a couple in Asia, including Thailand. So, it’s not like those planes that are duplicated across many trees; you’d only see it in the US tree and the Japanese tree (via Thailand).
Okay, yes, the A-37B Dragonfly is an unmodified U. S. plane. Also, yes, it was exported to Thailand as well as Columbia, Vietnam and probably a dozen other locations. It WOULD definitely be a cut and paste IF that aircraft existed in the U. S. Tech Tree (as it should). However, despite your true statements, it is not possible to be a cut and paste because it doesn’t exist anywhere within the game. I get your point that, if an A-37 is to be added to the game, it definitely should start out in the U. S. Tech Tree. If that were the case, the Thailand version would definitely be a cut and paste. However, I hope you can also see my point that, if anyone gets the A-37 Dragonfly, it is an original craft because no one has it yet.
