Canadian Air Forces Tech-Tree

I’ll be honest here. Both the air and ground trees are almost wholly British. Definitely either should be a British sub tree or a combined tree with ANZAC. At least option 2 stops the crying over what nation gets Canuk/Aussie vehicles.

Update #1

Fixed Sabre spelling in both post and photo
Fixed location of Vampire F.B. 5 specs.
Added updated link for CL-41R

Now that the updates are out of the way, onto two other things I remembered I couldn’t add…

CF-103

CF_103_Mockup

This plane was meant to be a super-sonic stopgap between the CF-100 and CF-105, but due to the fact, the CF-100 was able to go Mach 1 if you pushed it made it so this never happened and ended up being mock-up only. Personally, I think it looks really nice and wish it had happened.

Venga TG-10

This was meant to be a trainer(with an armed variant planned). Its only prototype would be destroyed in a fire before being flown.

How unfortunate.

what about adding the avro arrow as a interceptor that would be cool

…?

The CF-105 is on the tree, heck both Mk 1 and 2 is on there.

Check line 4, rank 6, if you missed it their first time.

Unless I classed it wrong, but I’m pretty sure intercepted are under fighter in game for symbol.

Was the prototype airworthy? Bc if it was you could actually suggest it

How would they know for sure unless they flew it though?

Not sure, as there is little information on it. With how the info is worded, the prototype was complete but hadn’t had the chance to fly.

Some deeper research would be needed.

I see i see, i say mostly bc there has been suggestions that have been aproved for planes that the only thing built was the engine so just saying

True(but I’m pretty sure those were meant for armed aircraft right away), would have to run it by the suggestion mods and see if they think it can be, as I’m pretty sure it was planned to be armed later down the line and not right away.

It doesn’t appear that Canada produced any Hurricanes with the C wing (20mm cannon). They only built A and B wing Hurricanes. Apparently on delivery to the UK in 1943, a few were converted to C wing before being handed to the RAF (British B wing production had stopped in October 1942).

And this appears to be the Mosquito FB.24. Original link doesn’t work (https://www.museesnumeriques.ca/sgc-cms/histoires_de_chez_nous-community_memories/pm_v2.php?id=display_original&lg=English&fl=0&rd=109368)

I see, ya, I began doubting the existence of the late myself by the end of it. Now I know I was being misled.

Oh, and thank you for the Mosquito photo. I’ll restore(with putting the new photo) it into the tree when I get around to being able to update it.

F5c (and f5a[us one]) never had the flare dispensers that have in game but they recived them bc the chinese f5as used it, by that logic the sabre mk6 can keep its 9bs

True, probably should have just swapped them to “has provisions for” that I used on things that could uses missiles but didn’t have then in Canadian service.

That looks like a fun tree. I would grind it.

Nope they added Canadian stuff too other tree’s before added Canadian for some reason but no excuse for israel or Sweden A… Im part Swedish so it’s cool in all but it doesn’t make any sense that those two Countries got added before Canada.

I definitely think that this entire tree should be crammed into the British tree /j

Are these arcade BRs? Because I’m assuming that the suggestion isn’t for 12.0 F-18s with AIM-9M, and 12.7 with AIM-120. Plus a number of other BR issues.
