Can you disable the overpressure on APHE rounds?

I think that is more a new germany exclusive nerf.

Don’t they never nerf germany? Also I felt it happened against other tanks too but I don’t play ground that much anymore

I play 6 nations with regularity and see mostly (only maybe) in Germany tanks.
The quantity of hate and nerfs hate Germany TT in the last 3 years is insane thats why they pass form this:

Ok teaboo…

Genuinely, the only players that play victim more are the American’s and the French.

Especially the French.

The transmission module has been globally made artificially weak in game.

This is for all vehicles in the game, not just German tanks.

This is why you should play more than one tree and one BR, so you can get a better representation of changes in the game.

In German tanks the probabilty of loss the transmission after cupola hit is higher than in other tanks with similar type with the tansmission in the front even if thse are smaller or more cramped.

I play more than one nation thats why i notice this.

Is insane how allies fanboys attack like rabid dogs when someone try to complain about the high and senseless number of nerfs Germany suffer.

Again if you bothered to actually use brain rather than cry “germany suffers” you’d understand why this isn’t a Germany specific change

It’s a global reduction to transmission HP and it hit everything in the game at once

It only feels like it hit germany harder because of the module layout and confirmation bias

If you didn’t want your whinging to be ignored then don’t peddle trite like “Germany suffers” when it’s clearly confirmation bias that stems from a gobal nerf

Yes please ignore me. Try to arguing with ultra baised allies mains is just a waste of time.

The only biased one here is you buddy, you think a global nerf is hitting exclusively one nation because you can’t see past your own nose

Test using the Tiger 1 and AC IV. Both vehicles have the transmission in the front but the AC is smaller and more crampped. Using US M61 APHE shell to the cupola. 30 shots each.

Tiger 1 lose the transmission in 20/30.
AC IV lose the transmission 5/30.

Looks like the problem is far from my nose.

That is further proving my point actually

I shouldn’t need to explain basic game mechanics but Germany mains are truly a special kind of player

APHE fragmentation is generally incapable of penetration through people

The tiger has a large amount of open space for fragmentation to actually reach transmission without having to pass through a person

The AC.IV is cramped and the crew absorbs the majority of the fragmentation and prevents the transmission from being hit with most fragmentation

If you bothered to even examine your own images you would notice that the AC.IV actually got a heavily damaged transmission even in spite of the cramped turret protecting it

Were this a Germany exclusive nerf (which you are claiming) it would have taken little to no damage rather than being turned orange in the majority of hits

The transmission module as a global change was made significantly easier to disable full stop, any minor fragmentation hitting it more than a couple times will destroy it when previously it needed a more direct impact to destroy

In fact if you played French wheeled light tanks such as the VBCI you would know this as the VBCI is literally the only vehicle in the game where it can be immobilized with a dead transmission by an infantryman with a 9x19 pistol

Dude you are a very obsesed with germany lol. I dont see any German main in this discussion.

When the fragments avoid the crew and directly hit the AC tansmission ends in Yellow/red damage but in the Tiger is jsut black with a minimal hit.

This kind of selective nerfs are not nothing new. In the early days the Germans transmission suffer from unrealistic fire for a long time or the hidden fire multipliers only for russian guns discovered via datamining. But allies fanatics alwys try to hide this behind the “Germany bad players” meme.

Both of those literally never happened lmao

Transmission modules as a whole were made weaker by the devs across the entire game and the difference in result from cupola shooting an AC.IV and tiger are literally due to the tank layout and modules not because of any anti-german nerfs lmaoooo

Wrong:
Hidden fire mult. WT code pic from 2015:

From 2015 too:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Warthunder/comments/3kvp2y/when_are_transmission_fires_going_to_be_removed/

From Google A,I:
In War Thunder, the transmission fire mechanic sparked significant controversy within the community following its introduction in 2015 (around patch 1.53), as hitting the transmission of certain tanks with explosive shells could trigger a fire.
Community datamining and complaints: Years later (around 2016 or 2017), community dataminers examined the game files and pointed out specific lines of code that disproportionately affected German tank modules or mechanics compared to Soviet ones, fueling claims of “Russian bias.”
Subsequent fixes: Following community pressure, complaint threads on the official forum, and data-backed reports, Gaijin eventually adjusted damage mechanics, module vulnerability, and transmission fire probabilities.

Even if the nerf is for all, clearly this are going be more effective specially for Germany tanks due the frontal transmission so.

No lmao the nerf actually hits wheeled tanks at high BR the hardest with their literally external transmission

German main discovers what filler size differences mean incredible

Thanks to proof my point. Just another fanatic allies mains just hate Germany now is my time for ignore you.
