Over 6 years for me because We never had top tier games without missiles since when F-100D/MiG-19PT/Javelin Mk.9 comes.
This is my second account — on the first one I had reached level 95. In any case, I’m not claiming that one thing is better than another. It’s just that there are players who prefer the old-school way of taking down opponents using machine guns or cannons without any gimmicks.

Honestly this has made the high tier jets actually fun for me
The fact that you cant use the Ariete here is diabolical, gunfighting an EF2K or an F-16 in that would be epic
Modes like this and the WW1 event would be ideal for a special mode rotation with returning modes/events
It’s refreshing to see new modes being worked on, but I would rather get ARB EC than stuff like this

Yes, though there aren’t that many planes with gunpods at/above 12.7

To me it would only show they already know exactly what people want, and they’ll only deliver stuff as long as it doesn’t break the game’s economy.
And ARB EC has all the numbers to break it if implemented without tweaking numbers.

It already was unusual for them to let people earn SL/RP during that attack/defense mode recently
This is actually a very fun mode as someone who likes gun game play than missiles it’s a breath of fresh air. Only using guns makes for some cool dogfights without having the worry of being clapped by a missile, I hope gaijin make this a permanent game mode.
Finally I can try to improve my absolutely horrible aim in planes that don’t just use Amerikan .50 cals.

game mode is really cool and id like to see it as a permanent game mode, 8v8 however is kind of a problem because you often get 5v1 or people just run away and dont look for any fight (i know that its part of the game lol), maybe 4v4 is the way

Finally a good mode in recent years other then April Fools event, but maybe they can reduce the reload time to 5s or less, is quite easy to fly out of bound before the reload countdown ended. And maybe they can added a obvious UI to show the resupply spot.
