Look, I’m not gonna be able to change your mind about this, but those ATGMs aren’t that big of a deal.
It’s the same case as all the HE slingers, just because they work against top tier vehicles doesn’t mean they have to have a really high BR.
The BRs of the high end ATGM slingers and the HE slingers is mostly based on the feature of the vehicle that carries those weapons, not on the weapons themselves.
The ZT3A2 has been at 8.3 for ages and it’s never been a problem, the AFT09 hasn’t been a problem at 9.0 either.
That a HEAT missile flutters in flight and hits the target at a random angle, sometimes even flat. It would be nice to simulate this behavior in the game.
They modelled the initial launch wobble, no random fluttering or “hitting targets at random angles”
A lot of ATGMs have an initial drop, not just NATO ones, but other than that initial drop, all missiles that I can test right now fly perfectly straight after stabilizing.
How long it takes for the missile to stabilize depends on the missile, the launcher position, the launch angle, etc. If that stabilization phase is realistic is one thing, but it’s not some kind of random behaviour or malfunction.
Actually IT-1 has been doing this launcher-pop-up-behind-cover thing since the beginning of time lol it’s also the only soviet vehicle that has gun depression.
I’m waiting for people to either spade the BTR or to stop using it, so USSR 9.0 start winning again. Some of the teams have just been silly. Hate when people don’t bring a lineup just because they want to spade a vehicle (especially for a support vehicle like this, unlike the new Chieftain 400). I bring a lineup no matter what. Even if it takes longer to spade the new vehicle.
Pretty sure that it was before of the missile changes so it has been a really long time from that, they dont have those issues now and curretly they dont wobbles at all.
Btw russia does have missiles that wobbles just as much as the tows like on the khrizantema, which also drops, also this wobble is just a awfull PID settings. the missiles doesnt fly on random angles
