The ATGM option is very enticing. The standard BTR-80A is really lacking in AT capabilities, so it would be a great help to have some “oomph” on the battlefield.

Idk about that. It kinda depends on what they give it. If it’s getting thermals and the 3UBR11 round, then it should be around 8.7 as an analog to the VBC (lower in BR by .3 due to RoF. If it’s just getting APDS rounds and regular NV, probably 8.0 since it’s stabilized and has a LRF.

Fuck NO. The BTR-80A was bad enough. We don’t need another one.
This one is just on par with the VBC. Nothing ground breaking. Has a slow RoF.

That’s an entirely different beast. That has a 2A42 (high RoF), two Konkurs-M, etc. This vehicle would be similar to the VBC in some regards. The BTR-82AT is like what the Freccia would be with TOW missiles.

Additionally that would turn it into BTR-82AT.
Many confuse BTR-82AT with version with completely other turret, however it’s just a version with multichannel thermal gunner sight and mounts for cage armour.
BTR-82AT also brings cage armour, however its not strict and optional, should be in game as modification, similar way as M1128.
Kevlar lined is only at the sides sadly.
Also Belorus BTR-82A get their own 2ns generation thermal sights, that could become a premium.

please GAIJIN war thunder needs this since the BTR-80a lacks in many ways
like its un able to take a single hit from a 7.62 the BTR-82-at would be a very good ether ad on upgrade of a separate tank, please GAIJIN
