Ohhh, then I see no issue, although I don’t want to be pessimistic but they would come next update becasue if Germany were to get better Brimstones (they aren’t F&F but we all know someone’s not going to be okay with it) together with their current SPAA (IRIS-T SLM considering the Leviathan update as the actual) it’d be ‘unfair’. If British and Italian SPAAs come, then I’d see no issues regarding balance between nations (CAS would be a bit difficult to provide maybe).
Let’s see what they do now…

See, to me thats even worse.
Britain and Italy are 100% dependent on aircraft for any meaningful Anti-air as neither have usable top tier SPAA.
But now if they are fighting germany, neither can spawn in the Typhoon because they have no SEAD weapons to use against them.
Yes ,Germany would also get the buff, but given the F-15I is also get quite a major buff this major update, I dont really see the harm in the German Typhoon also getting buffed.
Anyway. Typhoon is woefully underperforming in terms of CAS no matter what. Should have Spear-3s at this point too and planning on making a seperate thread for that

Hmmm, I don’t have any Typhoon as much as I’d like to, so if that is so, then I see absolutely no problem. Didn’t think about the F-15s AIM-120s right now, so yeah, no problem on adding them. And yeah, I don’t see many Typhoons getting as much kills as other CAS platforms (let alone the Su-30/34s).
They are the weakest top tier CAS at the moment. The only thing keeping them going is the high skill of the pilots (having been forced to use a Tornado for the past 2 years) and the ability to provide sustained CAS with a large payload.
But they have the weakest AGM (shortest range, slowest and smallest warhead) and the only top tier aircraft without a single FnF weapon. They dont even getting a stand-off GPS guided weapon like GBU-39 or any other glide bomb.
Infact, the Typhoon shouldnt even have Brimstone 1, it never used them IRL, only the Brimstone 2 and onwards
Do the Typhoons have glide bombs in real life? And do they not have IR A2G missiles? Or exported AGM-65s… I though Brimstones were better than they are but when I saw the size of the missiles I saw the problem.
I think rafale deserves more buffs instead

No they used the Brimstone which is superior than IR guidance with the MMW. Which is why its not modeled in game, it would be “too OP”
Nope. Maybe a single image of them next to a PGM-500 at an airshow, but that is down to Gaijin whether they consider it good enough
They are exceptioanlly good IRL, but are artificially limited to SAL only (no FnF) because they would be too strong otherwise.

I MMW were to be added, how would it be different to an AGM-65(D)? Besides the number, of course.
First off. Smoke doesnt work. It can see through smoke. After that, it all depends on how they chose to model MMW.
IRL, the Brimstone could be fired off into a target area, where it would search for a target and engage it. If multiple were launched, then they would communicate with each other and all hit a seperate target. They were pre-programmed for targets to look for. They could also be guided towards a specific target using a laser, and within about 5km, would track that target with its radar.

Yeah, full strength Brimstones would be too strong. The Ask for MMW is simple.
Allow the missile to be fired at a specific target area using IOG or using the laser and once the target is relatively close, within the terminal phase, it to become FnF.
Gaijin’s choice whether they make smoke block it or not.
Would give us some form of FnF on the Typhoon. But if not, then a longer ranged Laser guided variant of the Brimstone, such as Brimstone 2 and/or the Spear-3, (a Brimstone that has GPS guidance in addition to its other modes, small deployable wings and replaces the solid rocket motor for a turbojet.)
Spear-3 would essentially give the Typhoon a GBU-39 that was better when launched at low alts.

Wait, what did they do to it?
Bigger map would help too, last time i played with my rafale i was in the ennemy air spawn and it was barely 20km… So i couldn’t really try to do 30km launch with my hammer.

The amount of times i’ve been virtually spawn killed by a Pantsir in a Tornado. I have no idea how anyone is meant to do anything against an IRIS-T SLM or Spyder, even AF spawning isnt a viable option on every single map as AFs can be within LoS of the map
