Bots/ai in Naval, what do they count towards?

I’m aware that not so long ago ai ships in naval were suposedly changed to count towards daily tasks. The ones who’re given names, not the cargo ships etc you get on some maps

Now what I’m not sure about is a) if they still do count towards daily tasks right now and more importantly b) does destroying them (the ones with names) count towards awards in match too or supposed to?

I’m confused to be honest at the moment, and can’t really find the info I’m looking for with my search skill issue that seems to be a thing too haha

So any insight is greatly appreciated? Thanks

Yes killing named AI bots in naval are counted as player kills now. There was a post by gaijin sometime in Jan or Feb

But you can’t get Professional for the last BP challenge.

This is what I’m trying to determine, like if they count towards the awards then they should count towards that right amongst others? If not then no worries

Yes, naval bots don’t currently count for the Professional BP challenge (or any Professional award). It’s a bug. They’re supposed to.
