No it isn’t lmao. The Australian Boxer CRV Block 2 is basically the same as this German one. The one in game is the Land 400 demonstrator model.

Oh hey, nearly correct model for the Aussies Block 2 finally being added, now just need Gaijin to C&P it down the line and give the minor changes so we have a correct vehicle over the Land 400 one we got.
And TT boxer for Germany, neat good for them. It as been over a year since the first one was added, probably closer to two so this is much needed vehicle.

The full production name would be Rheinmetall Defence Australia Boxer Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle LAND 400 Phase 2 Demonstrator or Boxer CRV LAND 400 Phase 2 Demonstrator. But why Gaijin called them “Block II”?

Gajins vehicle names arent alwqys entirely correct. Its nothing new.
I thinkbthere was an open report about it already.
The Boxer SWaTrInf’s crown jewel is its Spike-LR II missiles, which operate on a “fire and forget” principle.
As in you fire them and they forget what they’re doing
Alternatively you fire them and the forget to do any meaningful damage

Don’t know why, possibly just a lack of research. However there has been a bug report pointing out the name is wrong for the Aussie one currently in game since almost day 1 of the event. The bigger mystery is why they don’t simply change the name to something that isn’t blatantly false. Bug report plus probably a couple hundred posts from many different users on the forum all saying the same thing.
