True. I just think there should be a full 1.0BR difference between this and the BMPT. But I have been saying the BMPT should be 11.7BR or 12.0BR for a while now…

It just tears through so much and is hard to disable. I’ve had matches in it where a bunch of 12.0 tanks struggle to kill me even when it’s disabled even when I’m surrounded. The fact that it was ever 10.3BR is honestly funny.

bruh the 30mm slop must end, add some cool cars or hell, give these 30mm slop machines something to justify bothering with them over others. 30mm bush master and 4 spike missiles already sucks, give them more missiles or hell some dudes in the hull

I know this Boxer won’t be good against BMPTs but at least I’ll have some fun, however, I still think only 4 MELLS (spikes) is enough, this platform was made for pure support, in my opinion, they should have 6 of them: 2 ready and 4 in the cargo area, now I just have to wait for Schakal, Skyranger 30, RCH 155, IRIS-T SLS, and maybe GMARS, in the UK case, the Boxer Overwatch (Brimstone) might be a good fit for the tank destroyer line.

4 are good but spikes in game for same rason doesnt do any damage its better gaijin fix the spikes than have 6

I agree, they should be more consistent, at least I’ve seen that when helicopters are close, I’ve been able to shoot them down with the spike missiles, but they should be more effective against ground units, in my experience, I’ve had more problems with russian tanks.

That would be interesting, as a concept for a modern tank destroyer, does anyone know of a voting link for this unit?

spikes are the best against helis i have killed from 7km away, spikes just dosent give a shit about flares

Wish it would be out of BMPT BR bracket. With that BMPT around all other IFV have no chance.

And that is almost all they are good for. Helis and light vehicles.

But they don’t even do that reliably.

Wounder why the Spike launcher is stuck at this upward position. Its angle should be adjustable to match the target you’re going to hit. Alone this makes it hard to actually use this thing. Most maps and sight axis’ are too narrow to even use the Spike. Its so useless on most maps.

If this was meant to replace wiesel TOW, why did it only carry 4 spikes? Like the bradley a3 which is a cavalry version, so without dismounts, carries 10 tow-2.

What also bugs me, is that ifv’s are restricted to their actual atgm count, while mbts 's can load their entire carousel.

Even when they fix the spike, 4 is still not enough. From my experience most “top attack” atgm perform poorly, haven’t used the French acheron, but Tow 2b, Bill II & Spike perform poorly.

Maybe because in RL spikes are much more likely to hit and destroy a tank? 😄

I love the Bill II/tow2B tbh. Pvb 302 is a quite funny troll vehicle.

Never played the BMPT, but when i see the performance of spikes (900 mm pen) compared with the Atakas (800 mm pen) from the BMPT, its again a Gajin russian bias joke nobody understands.
(yeah i know, more explosive, but for top attacks the spikes should have enough, their trajectory is just poorly modded. )

I guess Tow2a is much better than Spike. Except maybe vs Helis and light vehicles. Spike usually can’t kill or incap tanks. Sad but true, despite the footage from the Aserbaidchan vs Armenia conflict where they killed T’s in the dozens using Israeli Spike. WT got something wrong with Spikes. Irl one hit onto the turret leads to fatal tank detonations: Ingame It always slams into frontal armor or fails to pen the roof MG.
