HISTORY
The Norwegian company Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace is one of three companies under the Kongsberg group and is a continuation of Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk. Kongsberg makes products for both defense and aerospace, and has over a number of years developed a number of very successful products such as the Naval Strike Missiles, Penguin ASW to mention a few and the market leading protector series, featuring multiple families of remote controlled weapon stations and turrets , which countries all over the world have already started integrating on their vehicles and vessels even.

Over a period of a couple of years, the Norwegian company Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace (Kongsberg Gruppen) has collaborated privately with the German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann to integrate the remote controlled/crewless tower that Kongsberg has developed, then on a Boxer Armored Fighting Vehicle. The concept was first shown to the public when the manufacturing facility at Stockport in England opened. The integration of the RT60 was recently completed successfully, and it has shown an impressive ability for the Boxer, the turret and the combination was tested and proved to be quite successful. The carriage was not so long ago demonstrated and tested in Norway, you can see this in the pictures I have attached, and it shows both the 30mm cannon, the coaxial machine gun and the remote-controlled RS4 12.7mm station being fired. As this is the Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace version, it is painted in their classic beige color, which they have on all their products.

The Kongsberg Protector RT60 is a market-leading crewless turret for medium calibers. It was developed by the Norwegian firm Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace and the different versions of these towers have been used by a number of nations worldwide. This specific series, RT which stands for “Remote Turret” comes in several variants RT20, RT30 and RT60. The RT60 model is then the AFV variant in this family, and this tower can have a number of extra things integrated, such as active protection system and CIWS to name a few.

The Boxer armored fighting vehicle was a vehicle that was designed by a number of companies across Europe from 1998 to 2009. It started as a joint venture between Germany and France, after which several nations joined the effort. United Kingdom in 1996 and in 2001 the Netherlands joined, France left this in 1999 to work further with their own ideas for this vessel.

IN GAME
I believe this would be a unique and great addition tot he game, either to be featured in a Norwegian subtree under the Swedish tech tree or potentially in a future NDI tech tree. Considering that Krauss Maffei also further customized their variant of this, this is something that could be introduced and added to the respective nations at the same time.
