specfically considering AIR RB its unlikely this plane will fair any better
probably gonna 14.3 14.0 F18 is not fun experience
i just dont understand why the navy decided to go for a plane that has even worse flight performance than event he fa18c… f-21 super tomcat or whatever it was called wouldve been much better than the fa18e

For real life purposes the Super Hornet is an amazing naval fighter. It has many desirable traits like good payload and good range while not being insanely big or heavy. But this does not cross over to WT

F/A-18E in VX-23 once performed as a testbed for Tactical Aircraft Directed Infrared Countermeasures pod. TADIRCM was consisted with six 256 × 256 pixel FPA missile detector sensors and two Agile Eye II laser-based IR jammers, and could be mounted on outboard wing pylon. The pod was actually functional and performed well during tests.

Some 5th gens also have this (ldircm type active counter measures) so it’s fine if hornet gets it imo

f18d late (Malaysia) was added to Japanese tech tree. so maybe it can come to finland in the future.
kinda was hoping for a f-18f for us tree instead of the e model. help make it stand out more to the other hornets. with it having 2 seats instead of one.
Maybe we should start a petition to get the Gaijin to start supplying new missiles and weapons to the US? It’s been more than three years since the Mavericks were deployed. They continue to supply new aircraft, but with the same old weapons.
