Air force will use AGM-88J, army isn’t able to use HARM full stop unless they are secretly planning on cramming AARGM on an apache or something (army isnt allowed to have fixed wing aircraft)

Can’t seem to find the FY27 to get more info into BOL. Last platform it was tested and integrated on was the F-15E, with only one very res photo of it

can somebody report f15ex being unable to reach Mach 2.5 in clean condition as advertised on Boeing website? it only max out at 2.45 meaning either has bit drag then it should or thrust is bit weaker than it should?

USAF lists F-15 as 65000ft, some 3rd party but fairly trustworthy sources say 60k for EX.
Idk why Boeing has it as 50k, seems very low
Maybe it’s the ceiling without burners

I think gaijin doesnt take service limits very seriously, most planes in game are modeled past their limits anyways + extreme limits are hard to model anyways and are irrelevant to most arb situations anyways (like who’s flying at 15km altitude+)

It would be carrying be AGM-88J which is air force varient of AGM-88G. F-16s have tested them so far

service ceiling =/= maximum altitude
A F-4 Phantom in its days reached over 99k feet, and its service ceiling is listed as 60k feet

Probably will be re-introduced when next-gen IR AAMs are added.
Most likely after the R-60 and R-73 buff im 99% sure next update will bring new missiles
