Possible F-15EX with integrated IRST
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center also hinted that a new AIM-120 variant is in development, possibly named the AIM-120E.

Personally, I think the IRST thing is going to mount on all Advanced Eagles and export-oriented F-15Es, but I can see it being a retrofit option for all F-15Es and F-15EX in the USAF service if it’s needed in the future.

I hope they are just working on a better MAWS to complement the EPAWSSv2 instead of just not giving the EX MAWS and IRST.
Though I do wonder, is it better to have integrated IRST or podded like with Legion

I would say that inyegrated is better. You have less drag on it and it a world where planes are harder to detect by radar, they still hot + having that option in general is pretty nice. The legion pod would take a spot for a bomb or smth

Btw guys, does anyone know what armament the outer wing pylons can take other than the twin missile racks?
And their max weight too
The most we know is that it can either take 2 AMRAAMs or 1 HARM
We don’t know any other weapon that can go on the 1 and 9

This is the ordnance available for the Advanced F-15.
You can see that on stations 1 and 9 it can equip only HARMs, AMRAAMs and 9Xs

As you can see the F-15E can carry the JAGM-F in the same style like the SDB.
That more or less means that in the future the F-15E and the F-15EX ('cause the EX should be able to carry everything that the E can carry and more) will be able to carry around 20 smaller “Mavericks”, of course, Mavericks that have a MMW seeker. That would surely be fun for the GRB enjoyers

28, SDB cannot be put on wings ingame for some reason but it can carry 28 JAGM-F/SDB/SDB II

I imagine that in the future some type of loadout separation will be made for GRB and ARB.
Players will not always take out and spaa and this means that this thingy can take out the whole team 2 times or just spam them all on a Pantsir to end its life :)
