Bmpt and the Bmpt-72

You could see an RPM difference between one cannon and (supposedly) two cannons. So this video supports your claim.

Tech tree one has 555mm of armor everywhere. There is also a spall liner bug in the BMPT-72 where one piece of turret liner doesn’t move with the turret

The middle video shows it firing both cannons

I mean, they are both (specially the tech tree one) still WIP hahah

And that squadron vehicle is better than tech tree version 5 lvl player will get it for free

Also middle video show them quite accurate, grouping is pretty nice on low ROF

Is that the Russian 30mm APFSDS? Because we don’t even know if that shell entered full service production.

If it the same as on BMP-2M then

Doesnt really matter. It already in the game and if Snail wills it - they can add it

I’ll need to find the video but there’s one that shows one barrel shooting at a lower rpm but later in the video it increases the rpm twice I think, if I can find it again I’ll post it. I think the lower rpm is for more accurate shots and the faster is more for suppression

Cant find the video for this at the moment but this is literally a gif made from a video of a BMPT shooting from both barrels. It should absolutely be added imo. Russia doesnt have any new light tanks for the top tier, I would like to see apfsds on the BMPT with both barrels shooting. Put it up to 12.0 if necessary 🤷‍♂️

Lol you know nothing about it.

You can see the ammo shell ejecting only from the left gun. Lies and lies.

This is pure proof for double barreled shooting. Gajin should look into this

For me, it kinda looks like it’s only the left barrel that’s shooting based on the movement and muzzle flash
While the right one is just having a seizure as it’s being taken for a ride

bit hard to tell unless you manage to find a video in slow-mo

It has two guns because it’s supposed to fire one whilst letting the other one cool around. It doesn’t make sense to fire both at the same time because one gun will acomplish the engagement anyway.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfyorBP7OEM Very good video about the concept of the BMPT and its long development history.

T-80UD is missing XD

For cooling to matter it needs to have some absurd fire rate, but most cases it fires on lore RPM. It also returns to good old BMP-2 (and by extension to BMP-3 and BMDs with same combat module) which manages the same, but with a single gun (I suppose overheating is non issue for them somehow)
