Ajax is 38 tons, 42 if it gets its optional ERA
So, in which way do I write now the report…
BMPT TD → AFV/Light Tank
Or
Namer/Ajax/Puma/… IFV/Light Tank → TD
?
BMPT should be conisdered an MBT. Larger spawn cost, no ammo crate
yeah i dont wanna bmpt with scout to make cas even easy to get
I mean, making the Terminator an Light, would trade the ammo chest for Scouting, would say thats an Good Trade xD
Press and hold W, scouting and spraying and praying and then for them to respanw in MI-28NM or Su-30 within the first 1 minute of a top tier match… no thanks, that sounds even worse
best way for me is to find proof of current ifv carrying ammo instead of personal that would be sold proof to add more ammo.
if it does not work, onlt way is ifv get ammo box
The issue is ERA itself is not over-performing.
@Morvran 's assessment is with incomplete information about ERA and the game’s implementation.
K5, Duplet, and Relikt are kinetic defeating ERA types.
As a way to simulate this effect, they will distort direction of rounds below a mass, which is an optimized way of simulating penetration reduction.
You can nerf ERA all you want, but it will not change bounces from MBT rounds in the case of K5 and Relikt.
K5’s reduction is already not enough to protect against top rounds.
And Relikt’s even if artificially nerfed would still be enough to protect against top rounds.
It will also not change overlapping plates causing issues: Neither of these shots hit ERA.
So yeah, change ERA artificially all you want, you’ll still be bouncing rounds.
The reason why BMPT’s effective armor is higher is because the ERA is further away from the composite array:

holy cope
TLDR, soviet era is magically able to stop shells designed to penetrate it because "game limitaitons " meanwhile NATO ERA can barely provide enough protection to stop a handgrenade
+most NATO IFVs are magically missing there Spall-Liner, while some other nations get it Day 1
Must be coincidence. Gaijin would never artificially limit some (9/10) nations to ensure 1 in perticular was stronger…
Considering Gaijin has never done that… correct.
Japan and China got the biggest buffs of the T-series reload buffs: Oplot.
Providing you ignore
Soviet ERA
Long ranged AGMs
Top down attack ATGMs
SPAA
IRCM for planes
DIRCM for heli
Spall liners
Spall liners for IFVs
Missiles for naval ships
etc etc
Providing that I acknowledge*
1- Which is in Sweden, Japan, China; and is programmed using NATO source material.
2- Which is in USA, France, Japan, China, Britain, etc as well.
3- Which is in… every? tech tree now.
4- Which is every tech tree…
5- Oh, the Su-25T thing… that doesn’t even protect against my AIM-9L except at super long ranges where you wouldn’t launch them anyway.
6- USA, France, China, Japan… at least.
7- USA, Germany, Sweden, China, etc…
8- Refer to point 7.
9- Italy was the first ever tech tree to get them, and had them for years. USA, Germany, etc have missiles on navy vessels as well.
All of those points prove my post correct.
Its not. They are all underperforming considerably to primary sources
The only long ranged AGMs are the KH-38 and AASM. KH-38 was added first by a consierable margin.
The only nation with top down attack ATGMs modeled is the LMUR, all other missiles are awaiting impelementation of the same code, have been for 3+ years
Pantsir was considerably more powerful than any other equivalent and still is at the same BR. The fair addition for the soviets 4 years ago would have been the Tor-M1, instead they got a 12.7 SPAA at 11.7 for years.
It does, It also blocks all IRCCM missiles too.
Soviets were first, by quite a marign iirc.
Spall liners were onyl added in the same update that hte soviets got an MBT that had spall liners IRL. THey were originally only going to add the T90M with them but everoyne complained
Most nations are still missing spall liners for most IFVs, But BMPT got them fully and completely modeled day 1.
Heck, most MBTs still ahve missing spall liners.
