BMPT/72 Should not be 10.3

The track is an issue for all MBTs. It’s just volumetric spaghetti code. If it was easy to kill BMPT from the sides and back, at least there would be less people complaining.

this is where you should 100% shoot the BMPT.

Red : do not even attempt to shoot

In the first image, why did you draw blue around the atgms? It’s not like it will kill them and they can just spam another one if you disable one atgm. And the blue for the upper hull is drawn a bit too big. In th second, I shot at the left blue box but it doesn’t do much. You need to include a picture where where there’s a blue box for the corner track shot. That’s a good one spot shot.

Do not shoot these 2 things, sometimes it will not pen, and when it does, just kills the driver but doesnt manage to pen the turret area (where ammo and gunner are)

I’m aware of the track thing being an issue on all vehicles, i’m specifically mentioning it here since since the track is directly behind that ERA gap between the 2nd and 3rd ERA row if we are looking at it vertically

Horizontally speaking, it seems a bit worse to aim there since even though the gaps look similiar in spacing, it appears the hitbox for the ERA might be somewhat more likely to detonate here

no, when you hit one atgm, all of them explode, the bmpt is left with 60mm apds that cant do nothing front 500m and +

its not 100% kill but its 100% disable tank. its 50/50 good spot that can help sometime.

Yeah so frontally not a good idea, and with diagonal shots better through the track

0:58 all ammo exoloded on bmpt turret but is capable ti return the fire with gun wt f is this shit??? realy balanced… somehow bmpt have better sidearmor vs t90m or t72…

Whoever said the BMPT can be killed by a 50 cal. WHat a load of BS.

Just put a couple hundred 50 cal round into the turret, no damage, 2 L27A1s. No damage and was 1 shotted by the ATGM straight through my ERA. Like seriously, How the hell is the cancerous vehicle not 12.0+

I tried, did no damage to either. And I mean, I dont think I even scratched the paint

The biggest issue for me is this, we on this forum who I’ll assume as being better players then the average could all go 1v1 against the BMPT and win in a moderate array of vehicles at the same BR. Clearly the rest of the player base, the majority of the players base can not. 10.3 is a premium heavy BR and thus a lot of new players enter here. This leads to moments in game where as the better players on the team you don’t have to clear your BMPT but you have to fight 2,3,4 BMPT’s. In time I believe the BMPT could be put back to a lower BR when the average player has the tools and knowledge to stop them. Currently they do not and as such this vehicle needs to be moved up until the dust has settled.

Yep, Total lie, cant be done. 50 cal doesnt even damage it. Heck, I dont think the rounds can even connect, instead they just pass through half the time

At this point. i think it just needs to be removed from the game entirely. Its not like the soviets are lacking OP IFVs at 10.3, they’ve got like 10 of them.

Another issue is they use the Ataka point blank destroy a target and take no damage from the explosion? Like come on that would damage the tank like using HESH pointblank

To be honest, if you see one of them you’re better off smoking and hoping he’s bad at the game. Getting a BMPT while it’s hull-down is hard (if not impossible) unless you got HE rounds or tremendous luck.

I was already tracked, BMPT shreds them in nano seconds. You are DOA in that situation.

and it can kill turrets too quickly. Fighting one at 1100m. And its gun still has enough pen to kill a CR2s breach. This is after putting 2 rounds through the belts in the turret. But alas, soviet bias, does no damage

Honestly, jsut needs to be deleted from the game. Maybe add it back if/when they add ERA perforation to shells, maybe alongside DM83 slingers

I don’t consider yellowing a gun enough to say it’s damaged, plus it does nothing to it either way.
