Every map does this because the game supplies you with dumb teammate corpses to hide behind.
Thinking about it, why is there just a gap between the belt and the breech? it just ends at the trunnion which just seems to decrease the chances of fragments closer to the center from hitting tne ammo + isn’t the breech and barrel supposed to be connected?
Stupid design, survivability buff or am i missing something?

All of the above
Naaaaah, it’s fine
Where are you shooting that allows you to one/two shot it?
I understand that perfectly fine if you keep shooting the LFP / Driver Port, but I don’t believe you can easily one-two shot kill it if it hides those weakspots (which isn’t that hard to do considering the turret is so much higher than the driver port / LFP).
11.0 would only make sense if the 30mm belt actually consistently detonated instead of only 1/3 of the time.
If they want to keep that stupid mechanic, then it would genuinely be too good for 11.0 – even with APDS.
11.3 / 11.7 makes the most sense.
Hell, the tech tree BMPT can’t even be penned by the HSTV-L / RDF-LT through the LFP, so you’re forced to shoot the driver port / side a fair number of times before it can be killed.
look like someone made a whole forum to cry on profile.
Well:
- you cant ammo rack neither TT nor premium BMPT by taking out the belt that immidiately feeds to the guns
- you cant easily disable their firepower since its 2x 30mm breech + 4x ATGM launchers
- on top of that, crewless turret
- you cant overpressure BMPTs with most HE rounds aviable to NATO within BMPT BRs
- on top of all of that, volumetric hell in regards to its armor
- on top of that, spall liners everywhere
- on top of that, TT BMPT has 5 crew members
Like, if T-72B3 hides its hull, its annoying, but ultimately you can still take it out through its turret.
If BMPT hides its hull, youre kinda boned.
And its extremely hard to fully take out BMPTs firepower in the flash second it pushes you, blinds you with dual 30mm burst and takes out your gun and spams its ATGMs at you. And if you survive all of that all BMPT has to do is to keep firing until it squeezes enough shots through weakspots.
If normal tank combat at higher ranks is essentially a good old duel with single shot pistols, then facing BMPT is as if one of the contestants brought M249 SAW to the duel while the other contestant kept the single shot pistol.
“But Beeschurger doesnt BMP-2M do the same?”
Why yes the firepower might be similiar but you can just point and click the BMP-2M; with BMPT you have to look for weakspots under all that suppresive fire aimed at your barrel and good lord do you need be sure your aim is true.
Like shoving BMPTs at 12.0 or so does not inherently fix these issues, they will remain to be absolutely annoying to take out; but it confines them to facing tanks that also give hard time to BMPTs, instead of the one sided stomp were currently having.
he dropped a 100 megaton truth nuke

You can make the BMP-T 12.7, and it will still be just as annoying. Hull armor throughout 10.7 to 12.7 doesn’t change much. The only saving grace of it being 12.7 is that it top tier tanks have an easier time due to the higher pen shells but the RNG BS of Relikt and 100 layers of armor that makes it inconsistently and extremely unlikely to one shot will remain.
This thing can’t be balanced unless Russian armor is reimplemented from the ground up.
I would have to fish which specific update it was but to my knowledge the 30mm ammo racks are counted as external.
EDIT: Also isnt the killcam animation for ammo detonation different?
oh your talking about the belts.
btw the video was from yesterday
sorry i didnt record the full kill cam that why the ammo detonation part is missing. you can also know its ammo because i had 3 crew left in the kill cam
As far as I am aware only the Belt from the Magazine to the Gun, the Ammo rack below is an normal ammo rack which makes boom
Oh thank god. I was under impression that even the ammo on which the crew sits is “external”.
Edited the comment.

i dont know if its the skill of the player or the tank itself ( took only 6 shot to know where is the weak spot)
Though it feels incredibly inconsistant. Though. So do regular T-series tanks
I still have no idea how 1) how it survived, 2) it was able to rotate its turret and 3) how it was still able to fire just fine
and has the nerve to say that he sees no problem with the vehicle, which literally received four shots to the side and one to the rear to be finished off.
