BMPT/72 BR Topic

I put 2 L27A1s through a BMPTs turrets, and it kept firing. Hits both times.

L23A1 and L26 is incredibly inconsistant vs it if I can see the hull for a hull shot, and usually the CR1 gets disabled and killed before I can fire a singel round. L27A1 at least does work vs the body, but had one yesterday take 2 rounds to the side into the ammo rack before it died. CR2 though is just as easily disabled and usually 1 shot by its ATGM

That’s kind of the issue with the BMPT though.

You are required to one tap them because disabling the FCS or disabling the weapons is a roll of the dice with a tank. One sabot isn’t going to take out the missiles.

You HAVE to one shot it or else you will die. You HAVE to flank it or else you die.

It’s an ADATS with armor.

With how RDFLT and OTOMATIC are 12.0/11.3, 11.0 would be better. This thing can take on tanks frontally as a light tank. Only thing comparable to it is the strf9040 and even that should get a br increase of at least .3, if not also .7

Well, I tried to destroy it with air strikes, and this is what I got. Or rather, nothing happened. The Terminator can easily survive a hit from a Hellfire or a Maverick. It’s extremely difficult to destroy altogether.

sorry but lmao, trying to hit the tiny ammo belt model in the huge apparation on the terminator is hard enough

Give

BMPT

APFSDS

And

Move

to

11.3

the current bmpt of the tech tree dont operate the apfsds round, only apds.

the later upgraded variant got it apfsds / new turret ( current one in the 72) / side era kit / T-90m armor.

What issues are you having with the 30mm?

It’s eating my tank barrels then picking me apart like it’s an American at an all you can eat buffet.

doesnt need apfsds to go that high.

They just want more. Ask them to bring the terminator to 12.7 and see how well they still do.

He’s a nightmare at 12.7. No matter what BR you put him at, he’ll ruin the game.

hope it will go to 11.3 or even 11.7 at the end, best is 12.0, so that 10.7and below would be away from disasters

Dear Sirs… currently I have a K/D of around 3.95 on the BMPT-72 and around 5.4 on the BMPT and 1). The BMPT is only dangerous to the MBT if the MBT is moving at high speed; just because the autocannon destroys the tracks or the gun is completely normal, it doesn’t always mean the vehicle will be destroyed. 2) As someone rightly pointed out, it’s a tank chassis. Try flanking with something like that. Sometimes it works if the map allows… and to put it mildly, sometimes it doesn’t. 3) ATGMs are the same level as 8.7-tier Stormtroopers. They won’t always kill, to put it mildly, which makes the lack of nails even more noticeable. 4) Adding nails and moving it to 11.3 or even 11.7 will give virtually every vehicle a break. Remember, at higher tiers, the amount of nery and rank will guarantee adequate protection for vehicles without eliminating the point of using APFSDSs (and there are Spalliners). 5) Explain to me how the BMPT can’t use nails when the BMP-2M has an identical gun? I’m serious. 6) Complaining about the BMPT is largely a skill issue. It can be destroyed just as easily, or even easier, than classic Russian MBTs. Even when it was at 10.3, I took the German 9.3 for a test. Even a Gepard with 8.3 can destroy it like that… or rather, destroy three Terminators at once… but hey, it’s certainly not our fault if we lose, right? So no, the Terminator can be balanced ;). The current problem stems from the approach to the balance of the Slug itself. The Terminator is either too good or is junk, and this is due to the so-called UNBALANCED (IMPORTANT: Being unbalanced doesn’t mean that the Marin is OP. An OP machine is one that absolutely always, under all circumstances, significantly outperforms the opponent in combat capability.). For “unknown reasons,” it was placed at 10.3, where it should never have been. Now we have to wait for the Slug to finally recognize the root of the problem and balance it, improving its firepower but moving it much higher (in my opinion, 11.3 or 11.7 would be ideal). And one more thing, the Terminators aren’t finished. Did you know that the Relic on the sides, despite providing 200mm for kinetics, can be penetrated by APCRs from 2km? Even if it has less penetration than 200mm? Just one example among many. An extremely unbalanced vehicle and not finished at that, but absolutely not op. I really hope you read this, snail, and learn from this Christmas holiday some lessons for the future. Money is money, but common sense is common sense.

Beginning a comment about how certain vehicles are not op by stating K/Ds that are 50% and 100% higher than your already impressive MBT KDs is certainly a choice man.

11.7 is a minimum for both of those things. People take them even to 12.7 and feel good.

11.7 be minimum, this vehicle shouldn’t be in the game. I believe it’s still a monster in 12.3 even without apfsds

It’s impossible to play at 10.3 against this stuff. It’s completely unrealistic for the current state of the game. Players should rebel until they properly adjust this cancerous vehicle in the game.

Brimstone too fired 3 to be sure all impacted at the top of the vehicle yes it was damaged but not destroyed.

The K/D is mainly due to MM, which for the first 36 hours after the update was at the top in 95% of games. I was still fighting mostly against 9.3, and on top of that, people didn’t even know what Terminator was yet. At this point, my Terminator K/D is constantly dropping. Atom was always following Atom, but now? Getting 5 premium kills with Terminator might not be easy. And thanks for recognizing the stats on MBT.
