Yup and now add the MI28 into the mix with BMPTs, the game has walked down a path of insane powercreep that they need to get a grip on, they either go down the sim route and have this imbalance and watch players give up OR they treat it like a damn game first and start balancing armour so its actually killable in majority of scenarios or limit what can be spawned.

After multiple wins on USA and Sweden at 12.7, that’s where the BMPT/72 should be for sure. It does eat shells here and there from a 90 degree angle at times and can still be a nuisance but overall does not affect the gameplay enough to overpower a team.

For reference the #4 vehicle has a 56.9% W/R while the BMPTs have 63.8 and 65.5% W/R. to claim it has no impact is a little disingenuous when its already 10% higher W/R than ANY other vehicle in the same rank
After buying the Challenger 2 OES because I’m a dirty filthy wallet warrior, I am finding dealing with them easier in the higher BRs - you pretty much have to exclusively shoot it in the front lower plate or get a lucky shot through the side armour to kill it, it’s pretty much invulnerable from road wheels up
But there a lot of people who are wasting time trying to damage its turret or don’t know where to shoot it - and god forbid one gets hull down somewhere on a hill - my experiences at 10.7 have taught me well
Got my first “nuke”yesterday (didn’t manage to drop it which was frustrating) in OES, had to kill 4 BMPTs to get there… (the challenger 2 OES gets way too much stick for being bad, I love it so far)
They’re still toxic af, they just bog down any team trying to make an advance, and if one focuses you you’re blinded and then spanked with a very powerful missile
Puma got slapped with a bunch of nerfs, and move up BRs within days, not within weeks/months.
And to this day, we’re still waiting for proper fixes that would make the normal one 10.3 and the VJTF, 11.0 worthy.

BMPT on the other hand got NATO tier accuracy despite having none of that IRL… and of course, survivability better than any spall-lined MBT, be it 2A7V, or T-90M, because Gaijin refuses to balance it, its survivability, when it became known it could be killed via ammo hits to the turret? Gaijin patched that out, THEY PATCHED OUT GETTING KILLED BY BELT EXPLOSIONS LOL. It took weeks for them to even make it killable by ammunition explosion in the hull, but they still refuse to fix the fact you can explode the belts, that are sitting next to the crew, unarmored, and not kill the vehicle, lmao.
Oh, and they give out baskets to everything NATO, but BMPTs that have them irl? Nope, ofc not.
I hope you realize those numbers include times where BMPTs were at <11.0.
Doesn’t excuse it, even at 11.7 it dominates, and at 12.7 both of them hold their own well enough. They should also be nerfed.
We’ll have to see how they perform globally but premium one didn’t even dominate at 11.3.

A vehicle as OP as TT BMPT should’ve been 12.7 outright, it performs in TT perfectly fine, unlike other autocannons.
