BMPT/72 BR Topic

so what are the other exemples ?

too lazy to write them out tbh

It’s so bad i am pretty sure EU and NA are secretly the Chinese servers.

Now that I think of it, if the external and internal belts are separated, doesnt it need to reload for every (12 shots i believe its the amount of external belt)?

its not implemented, i have a video where i shoot the ammo, all one external but he still fired.

made a report about it, it should take at least 3 sec before firing back when external ammo detonate ( might be more when use extinguisher )

No its not. Main three nations have most players, depending on servers you play nearly third of live online uses either USSR, US or Germany.

No, its not that EVERY german player is trash, its that AVERAGE GERMAN MAIN is garbage who cant even play properly on OP machinery they have therefore it stands unbalanced. So it tends to be seen that german teams do play bad most of the time. As much as that i can say that AVERAGE japanese main plays better than average german main as they got their machines nerfed much AND have average KD ratio better than germans. Mostly because japanese ground is pretty bad or average throughout the tree so players who stay there tend to be more skilled.

Blind German is a meme not because russians got angy on skilled germans unow.

so they are literally worst out there on top tier with either no survivability, mobility or electronics?
I mean depending on which BR we talking USSR is either very strong or very bad.

The funniest way to prove it is to check KE vs. CE protection of Object 292. Apparently, textolite, in the eyes of devs, is insanely powerful against long rods. So powerful it turns 220mm array into 233mm of effective armor

DM53, 63 and 73 share the same penetrator, their difference is smth to do with propellant iirc

A bunch of event vehicles that are also busted which isn’t soviet’s

AGS
PT-16
Class 3
M60 AMBT
FV4030
Leopard 2AV (when it was 10.0)

^ If the player has common sense then they easily achieve 3-4 kd

Yet BMPT is so busted and easy to use that the average player gets >67% WR (highest winrate of any ground vehicle in the game btw) and 2.4 KDR with it.

And its not like the average player is very bright.

The major issue with the BMPT’s is that they have absurdly small weakspots (smaller drivers hatch than T-series mbts a.o.), cant be reliably disabled (like e.g. a T-90M can) while also having all of their supposed weakspots be absurdly inconsistent.

Combine that with a demented damage model and even penetrating shots just do nothing (fake external fuel-tanks on BMPT-72, 5mm RHA around fuel-tanks on BMPT that doesnt create spall etc.)

Its also very interesting that half of this thread has been talking about fighting bmpts with top tier rods while they’re currently sitting at 11.3…

Even JM33 (Japanese DM 33) cannot penetrate the sides (lower sides, i.e. between tracks) of a BMPT (w/ addon tiles) flat side on at >300m and that rod doesnt become common until 11.7.

Only 53-63 shares the same penetrator 73 has increased size and muzzle velocity.

Propellant difference starts with 63 in order to prevent ammo explosion.

I’ve seen a T-58 absorb a DM23 (400m pen) in the turret in 10.7, but it’s generally an easy target because any shot to the lower chassis obliterates it, unlike the BMPT…

No, DM73 has the same penetrator. But yes I think it has higher velocity indeed

IM propellants were used starting with DM 53 A1
DM 63’s propellant solely gave it better performance in cold environments.

DM73 has increased length and muzzle velocity in order to effectively engage more armored units such as RELIKT equipped tanks.

Information about those shells are highly classified so don’t expect to find any proper public information about them.

This is the best public info you can get your hands on DM73 which doesn’t include any spesific information due to nature of bein classified.

I was talking about new patented propellant which prevents to ammo cook off and as far as I know DM63 is the first one in this case.

IM = Insensitive Munition
LOVA (Low Vulnurability Ammunition) means pretty much the same.
Either way, its available for DM 53 under the designation DM 53 A1

is just a veichle that can’t be balanced and shoudn’t be in game, a moneygrab for kids as the harrier was when introduced, or like i believe way more is pro russia propaganda.
A t90 that like every russian tank in game has increased protection and reduced effects when hit, with a smaller unreliable lfp weakspot to hit, 2 autocanons that don’t take damage from HE rounds and 200mm protection extra on side with reactive armor (every other nation with side armor get at best 30mm of protection from ap rounds

this dude posts a video showing a 120mm apfsds disapear on the side of a bmpt.

“sEe GuYs, ItS eAsY tO kIlL”

lolol you cant make this shit up…
