Probably a fault of me, but I’d sooner believe this is spalling being misrepresented by the shot cam than your round magically straightening out perpendicularly from this angle.

Personally I would not mind the BR it’s at if the damage model was a bit less broken. That the belt are still considered external when photographed literally show the crew is sitting next to the visible 30mm belt is stupid.
Also, when shooting at the side armor, it often doesn’t spall at all, worse than even on the T90M, when the shell isn’t simply eaten by the magical Russian ERA (from 90º angles that is).

can we appreciate how this, and 20mm APDS, instantly ruins your game, because though it may not kill you, you now spend a half a minute of your life staring at your screen blankly achieving nothing.

It’s incredible how in every BMPT thread, including the main one, players who own this vehicle premium or not, end up reducing other players to just ‘‘skill issues’’ , when in reality they’re just sitting there biting their nails, hoping the damn vehicle stays a monster for a few more months.
The community always has people like that, and here’s a classic line I’ll put in all caps so everyone can read and reflect:
‘’ Trying to debate and show proof that something is wrong is like playing chess with a pigeon, it’ll knock over the pieces, crap on the board, and still declare itself the winner of the game.”
Looks like even the Devs and Mods of this forum want to turn a blind eye to the BMPT.

I’m one of the ones who has one (the TT BMPT) NOT defended how OP it is lol. I have posted multiple replies in this thread showing all my stats with it, if anyone wants to search through my replies here 👍 And I already gave my permission for anyone to post my stats here if they wish, from in game and/or from Statshark. Arcade only for me, I don’t play GRB.

Please stop defending BMPT. Russian ERA absorbs 600mm pen APFSDS coming from 90 degrees incident angle. In your world the BMPT should be place at BR2.0 so it is balanced? So freaking tired of seeing such comments, genuinely just like how people feel when they heard someone says 1+1=3

If they THAT useless that all they can do is immobilise, yet you ask for a raise in BR, i suggest you raise the XM800T to 12.7 - its as useless as only can “immobilise”.

“in my world” those who imagine things that others did never say and use it as argument get executed with special violence. But in real world i did imply that its the one and only USSR machine at the rank that has same survivability as NATO MBTs when newbies shoot it, and has same survivability as any other USSR slop tank when players have some skill level, so i suggest that underperforming cannon from 8.7 and hella good ATGM from 10.3 is NOT balanced at 11.3., its underperforming. BUT if consider that protection level it is pretty balanced for said battle rating. Thats why i never argued against it being moved from 10.3. But i DO argue against it being moved up even more because some unskilled players at their OP 2a4s cant fight it.
Please move the terminators to 16.0, so they can only fight themselves. They are OP at 11.3, and OP at 13.0. I can’t kill them in my Leo 2a7 with dm53. Not playing until they are fixed.
Now that’s a huge problem.
Now sure it has BS survivability but 2A7V has no problem killing BMPT with DM53 unless BMPT is completely in hulldown position.
I always see people talking about this thing being undertiered, but… overtiering it won’t change anything? No tank in the game can reliably kill it, regardless of BR, it will keep shooting after being shot 6 times regardless of BR, the lfp is not a reliable shot regardless of BR, something has to change because even at 12.7 BR this thing will keep ruining the game, its not about BR, it needs real nerfs

i mean ignoring that it can be penned ufp at top tier pretty easily
theyre pretty easy to flank if youre on a good map for it and they dont outnumber you (which is the real problem, just how many of them there are)

Yeah, because when I shoot it on the side and the ERA+Spall liner eat most of the dart so that I kill 1 crew member is balanced.
