Management said release BMPT so we can all go on vacation. Comes back from vacation to literal hatred. I say Gajin should not release any vehicles close to a long vacation in the future.

It’s kind of both. BMPT is just BMP without being an APC.
BMPT is not an IFV.
The 1990 Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe defines an infantry fighting vehicle as “an armoured combat vehicle which is designed and equipped primarily to transport a combat infantry squad, and which is armed with an integral or organic cannon of at least 20 millimeters calibre and sometimes an antitank missile launcher”
BMPT cannot transport combat infantry squad, so it’s certainly not an Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV).
Yes, but Merkavas can also be used as APCs (brilliant tank design by Israelis too) BMPT is more tank destroyer for sure than light tank. The fact APC’s are in game fighting tanks labeled as light tanks is Gajin adding content for the sake of adding content. They should not be in the game.
EDIT: Infantry mode will give them purpose but enlisted failed BMPT joins money flows it’s like they’re preparing to shift the whole game and BMPT feels like the first part of that.

Merkava is capable of transporting infantry, but it doesn’t make it an APC, because it’s not even a secondary purpose for this vehicle. IDF itself never exercised transporting infantry this way. In extreme emergency, they are trained to use the Merkava as MEDEVAC for injured soldiers, as it can carry 4 people and a medic.

Tank chassis with auto cannon. It’s an el camino, for what Gajin has definitely tank destroyer simply cause the chassis isn’t light tank.
could easily be fixed, make a new line called combat support vehicle

and give every nation a few vehicles like that, that are classified as support vehicles

bmpt has brutal gun wobble when firing and it should be very inaccurate
i already know gaijins answer to that aswell that they wont add it due to only 2 vehicles having that brutal gun wobble (both bmpts)

Meikava at level 11.3 is a joke~his engine will increase the effect of the projectile~and the engine not only fails to resist the projectile. On the contrary, it also increases the power of the shells~Isn’t this the masterpiece of the developers?

Actually looks like the engine eats all the spall but that metal sheet taht separates the engine from the crew compartment creates a lot of spall, when in reality should work as a spall liner.
