What does pen values got to do with anything? Its the speed, maneuverability, and accuracy along side the HE atgm that is the issue. I can overpressure any vic at its BR and higher by hitting the roof (something that cant be done on the BMPT) it lacks the wobble that other atgms such as the ZTA3’s and yes the bmp2m has apfsds, but it has even been acknowledged by a dev to be a little overpowered at its BR

It’s a T-90/72… its mobility is average at best for the BR.
Over-pressuring is another issue for sure.
Also I haven’t had any ATGM wobble on me.

If BMPT could have APFSDS I’d say give it that and move it to 11.x based on current knowledge.
But it doesn’t so I can’t.
PUMA VJTF could only be 0.3 better than the BMPT, I can believe that.
Namer as well, especially with how broken the Namer’s armor is compared to PUMA and BMPT.
However, it’s possible the armor is so good that BMPT is potentially superior to both unless armor is improved on Namer.
Another thing is, the Terminator are TDs…
So why do they get Arty then?

They probably intended for it to have light tank category at first before changing it.
I support arty for TDs as an alternative as well.

Try maneuvering the missile at long range, is has about a second delay then over corrects itself like crazy, wobbling back n forth as it try’s to stabilize. The BMPT has a far more responsive missile and somehow lacks the major overcorrection that most other ATGMs have.

The T58 isn’t even that good 😂 there are definitely more broken Russian Air/ground than any other nation… shall we discuss kh38, pantsir, 2S38, bmp3, bmd, r-27er, r-73, how about the bluewater ships?
How long were these vehicles or weapons out without any kind of equivalent for other nations?

Yeah, whoever flagged the posts got mad real quick, I didn’t even get the chance to read it. I can see a bit of it through the embed. Either way, this thing is criminal.
I don’t think it will last at 10.3 for long, it’s the same BR as the BMP-2M without any of the downsides of the BMP for Christ’s sake, it has to go up.

IDK about criminal. I have conflicting thoughts as the T-72Bs are 10.3 with that armor, and IMO more useful to the match than IFVs as-is.
But I and others have previously made arguments they should be 10.7.
So with those previous takes, I might think of 10.7 being an option for BMPTs.
BMPT’s loadouts are seen at 9.3: APDS and 800mm penning ATGMs.
To my knowledge they can’t fire APFSDS either.
So I have my concerns, doubts, and thoughts. No conclusion yet personally.
Which is why I didn’t post a conclusion here.
All I’ve done is mention the facts and am juggling on how to conclude what those facts mean.
I formally retract my statement saying “they will be fine”
this was before they made the ERA so powerful that it eats every single dart.
They are now easily an 11.7 vehicle

I haven’t experienced shooting that yet, but might today or tomorrow.
I am playing 10.3 USA on and off.
Well it’s essentially sloped relikt, not very pleasant to pen with DM13/23 120mm

At this point we should give everything to everyone, as scouting would need to be added to every single TD as well, since vehicles like Wiesel 1A2 have access to scouting.
