Zero regrets buying a4e and grinding a4n ayit because those guys have access to relatively cheap terminator exterminators, agm62 and gbu8.
Had thoughts on buying su22m4 as well but it only got 2 kh29td and 2 kh25ml (if you want to guide ml’s via kh29t camera) and has br value of 11.0. This is 0.3 higher than su25bm with r73s and with up to 6 guided munitions. Plus there is a chance to face pantsirs, elde 98 and temu pantsir. If only it had 10.7 or those aa were moved up a bit…

I can say with a fact, That me and over 1000 people want the BMPT to be mover up to a higher BR. I’m not just talking about 0.3 or 0.7 I’m talking to 11.7 or 12.0. Because I am seeing them there and they are still extremely hard to kill with top tire planes and tanks. Felt like I was going on and on, And to add I’m not talking about bringing it up and adding more armor like the last up tire. I’m talking about just bring it up with no buffs at all. even then maybe nerf it there as well.

i bought challenger ds pack on sale because i wanted to have fun in 10.7
im not a good player, average at best on air, and have about 3 or 4 months of experience in ground battles (i only started playing it last year)
i’ve learned how to kill most mbts since i bought the chally. play hull down, thermal, binos, you name it, honestly i’ve found it quite similar to Squad with the ammo rack spots and stuff
anyways here’s my stats.
347 matches in 10.7 vs. BMPT (i had the chally since bmpt was upped to 10.7)
i have no issues killing premium BMPTs, they’re probs the easiest for me. It’s the techtree BMPT what gets me. The 5 crew. The era eating shells randomly through the front wheel weakspot when angled. The LFP 50% eating shells and 50% just killing 2 of 5 crew + engine. The driver port shot randomly going to the roof era. Side armor, between eras, sometimes i get the 1shot, sometimes the shell is also eaten.
If they’re hull down, it’s pretty much a lost cause. If there’s 2 playing together, im fucked. If they shoot while hiding in smoke, im fucked.
I think i’m pretty knowledgeable about bmpt at this point, maybe more than 99% in this thread.
So i gotta say… i fully believe bmpt should be 12.7.

For 2S38 to be 11.3, HSTVL would have to be 12.3/12.7.
That’s however a discussion for the 2S38 topic.
And I won’t have no pro-2S38 propaganda claiming it’s anywhere close to as powerful as the smaller, faster, better armed HSTVL cause Kurganmashzavod did not have the funding to make a vehicle that comes anywhere as close to as good as HSTVL no matter what 2S38’s fandom says.
BMPT should be 11.3 to start purely based on heavy tank precedent.

It kinda did improved. They made K-5 resistant to DM53. At the time of the 2a6’s release, DM53 could pen K-5 but was patched about a month later IIRC. They also gave the T-72B3 3bm60.
The B3A is probably the worst 12.3 I’ve ever played, only redeeming quality is it could intercept Spikes and without it is a mediocre 11.7 B3, I reckon the 12.0 T-80Us outperforms it in every metrics since they received reload buff that is quite significant.

The B3A might be worse in term of protection because it has like zero probability of eating darts to the side unlike the B3 has some bags to occasionally absorbs it.
I mean whether they are more unfair or not will always be up to debate as people are always biased, but there is a decent list of vehicles that were released almost as oppressive or equally oppressive:
M1, Leo 2K, IPM1, Leo 2A5, Leo 2A6, Puma, EBR 1954 and 2S6.
Those are only a few that I could quickly think of, the list is probably a little longer.
