Apart from the PLSS and B+ the Abrams is definitely best 2nd tank in war thunder. I feel noobs just don’t know how to play it but that can be said about any tank.

When it’s US vs Germany, and people actually have a lineup and not just clickbait. The match I feel drags on too long. When I get teamed with Germany it’s almost an instant win unless they have good minor nations like Sweden carries.
Now the bmpt is nerfed to death, people are still asking for it to be 11.7 or 12.0 for having same armor.
1 shot to any where in the bmpt ( except era ) will kill 50% of the tank crew / fire control and vertical stabilizer
No, I grinded Russia and I can say you can when someone plays to their tank’s strengths vs when a light tank is holding W down to A without caring.

I literally machine gun the turret to disable it with my abrams. US mains spam that machine gun in bottom tier but mid tier it’s like they forgot they have one.
Lol I see what you did. But in my opinion Russia isn’t that good in general I really struggle against Leos for their crew and excellent armor. Russia has 3 one good shot (and I mean good not perfect) and it blows up like fireworks

I even got a video of me playing bmpt against a leo2a4 destroying both my canon with 7.6mm
People forget they don’t need to always go into gunners view to shot. “I can’t see when it’s shooting at me” just exit gunners view and shot back 💀. I will say BMPT survives more than it should so model definitely needs fixing. Rush before the holiday season more than likely or money as some say.

meh, i find the T-series harder to deal with, the shots around the breech and driver port feels a bit more RNG because of overlapping layers and the size

Abrams feels like free food at this point, mainly concerned if we both scuff our shot since they’ll have better reload

If I shot the lower plate of any t series it’s gone. If you short the lower plate of an abrams it’s gonna shot back. When I played Russia it was very underwhelming, the only bias I saw was glazed. Abrams isn’t the best but dame the things I survived in a PLSS or B+ is worse than BMPT

Only issues i’ve seen with shooting the LFP on an Abrams is when it’s slightly to the side and gets eaten by the fuel tank, but that applies to a lot of vehicles
T-series LFP are pretty good spots to shoot when available but i’ve also had a few shots kill the driver, destroy the autoloader + engine but somehow miss the ammo

No one is defending it, that tank is broken for its BR. Raising it will just make it a useless scout vehicle. I honestly kill it with an XMT and XMT at top tier still kills russian tanks. It needs to be fixed for its BR.

If I see a Russian tank go over a hill with its awful gun depression its dead. That lower plate for most USSR players is always available and if they miss their shot I laugh cause that reverse speed is like a slow cinematic “i fd up”. The BMPT on the other hand gets shots in the same spot and it’s still alive even when ammo is hit 💀. Sending it up in BR is just going to make it useless.
